Unfortunately, the worst dine in experience my partner and I have ever had. First, upon walking in to an empty diner, we were met with a 20 minute wait before an employee came from the kitchen to assist. Upon seating, there was no greeting, no apologies for the wait, and overall an uncaring and depressed demeanor. Not once during our entire experience, there was no friendliness nor general courtesy from our waiter. Upon ordering, our wait was an additional 20 minutes, my partners food was brought out charred/burnt and cold. How does that even happen???? Aside from bringing us the essentials (water, utensils) we were not checked up on during our entire meal. We had to constantly flag down a separate member of staff for assistance, since our primary waiter kept avoiding our table. Even after politely requesting our meal to be re-done, we heard verbal complaints and cussing from the kitchen, despite the meal being burnt (the omelette was literally black on the top, again, how???) It was an overall sense of, order, eat and you have to leave since the only time our waiter approached us was to give the bill to get up and go. We will definitely not be returning to this location, and we urge you to listen to the reviews and go elsewhere. The drive is not worth it. 🙁

This is the 2nd time I been to this IHOP while it was almost empty. After 20 minutes of waiting to be seated and no one ever acknowledge us we decided to leave and go to the one on W.T. Harris. That service was great and quick. We had the same issue the 1st time we were there while almost empty. Won’t be coming back to this IHOP.

I’ve been here numerous times and never had any major issues except for the fact of it being packed during breakfast hours. Recently came.on a Sunday around 11:30 a.m., and there was no wait and was seated immediately. Our server Brion was nothing short of amazing! He took our order quickly and was very efficient the whole time. We ordered their classic breakfast with pancakes, eggs, sausage, ham, and bacon. Everything was delicious, and nothing tasted bad, and we actually got good-sized serving portions as well. This is located right off independence, so convenient location, and it looks like they had more staff working since the last time we came. Definitely recommend this location.

IHOP used to be very good and I feel nowadays its quality is very much compromised. My recent experiences at different ihop restaurants tell it. The pancakes are as usually good, but the rest of the new and existing items on the menu are not great.
At this location, we ordered chicken fajita omlette, Nashville hot chicken with pancakes, Chicken quesadillas and hash browns. Except pancakes, none is good. Nashville hot chicken is horrible. The omlette and hash browns were not as good as they used to be. The cleanliness of this restaurant is just okay. But the best part here is the services. It is very good, the waiter patiently listened to all of our requests and fulfilled everything with respect.

Love my local IHOP. I go there after 7pm. There are no people there. I can relax and eat my pancakes. This IHOP does not disappoint! The server who serves my family got promoted to manager is awesome! He has a very nice personality. He always greets me with a smile and laughs!

My friends and I went to this location for dinner late last night and didn’t know they were about to close. Kareem T. sat us down anyway and never made us feel unwelcome or rushed. He was so nice and polite, as well as very efficient. The food came out quick and hot. Everything was delicious.

Those Oreo waffles were dangerously good. So sweet that I got tired of them near the end, but the first half? Impossibly good. The strawberry cheesecake waffles were good too.
For the first time in years, the appetizer sampler came with the dipping sauces without needing to ask for them individually. You’d be surprised how much a better impression that makes.
Also: thank you for running the AC. The whole, “Business is slow so we’re not going to run the air conditioning” thing a lot of IHOPs have been doing lately is probably the single best example of a downward spiral I could point to. If people actively avoid your restaurant because you don’t run the AC, then it’s going to be hard to ever pull back into the black. But this place knows what’s up. Thank you for letting us eat in comfort.

After a small get together my friends and I decided to go to IHOP. We called ahead to make sure that we could get a table and to give the staff a little heads up because we were a party of 11 we were told it was all good to come in so we got there we waited 30 minutes at the front to be seated which was fine. They were busy with to go orders then we got seated. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks (and a drink was spilled on my friend) then another 20 minutes for The waitress to even attempt to take our orders then her iPad gave out halfway through the first order and she said she would come back and we waited another 25 to 30 minutes and she never came back so our friend went and said that we were just gonna head out and she was like me too which left the impression that she was never going to serve us and had no intention and didn’t express that to us so we sat there for 30 minutes waiting for our orders to be taken while she assisted other tables, and sat on her phone. I believe her name was Brianna, the manager on duty was very apologetic and very kind he knocked most of our drinks off of our order so we paid for our drinks and left. Overall a very frustrating experience considering most people in our group work or have worked in food service and we were all willing to tip very well considering the time and amount of people

The service is absolutely terrible. They take forever to seat people, even when it’s not full, and then it takes another hour to get served. They don’t even take our drink order. That’s why several branches are closing—because the owners don’t care, and very soon all these franchises will close due to mismanagement… We didn’t buy anything because the wait was too long.
