TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I usually go to this place once or twice a month. It’s super convenient, right next to the freeway. The staff is always so friendly, and the dining room is always clean. And let me tell you, their chicken is consistently delicious! I love the medium spice option in the Dave’s Bites combo. The seasoning is just right – sweet, spicy, and not too overpowering. And the Dave’s Signature sauce is absolutely amazing! It pairs perfectly with the chicken and fries. I’ve never had a bad experience at this Dave’s location, and I’ve been here about a dozen times. I always look forward to lunch with my coworkers when it’s at Dave’s!

Although I only placed it to-go order, my experience when picking up my food was wonderful. The place looked completely clean and the staff was very nice. We ordered the 20 sliders and wow was it a great treat. Loved the hot flavor even if it is a little spicy I recommend ordering extra sauce so you get extra flavor! I hope to dine there next time.

My mom and I come to Dave’s a couple of times a month because we love it so much. The portions are generous and always well seasoned. I especially love their fries – they don’t even need ketchup. The staff is super friendly. Bonus, they have fountain Coke Zero and crushed ice!

I can’t say enough good things about Dave’s Hot Chicken. I’ve been stopping by during my lunch breaks, and every single visit has been consistently excellent. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I’m craving. You can tell they really care about quality.

Their hot fried chicken is great! I went back three weeks in a row for the chicken thigh fillet. The third time, I tried the bone in thigh but prefer the fillet. The atmosphere is aimed at much younger people and the place is decorated with graffiti. But even though I’m a very old fart, the workers as well as some of the clientele were friendly.

My boyfriend and I FINALLY tried out this place and we couldn’t be more pleased. The cashier Joseph was really cool, he was very thorough with the menu board and was very welcoming. He gave me an extra lemonade after I asked about the lemonade prices but declined to switch out from a fountain drinks since our order was already placed. The environment is fun, food is delicious, and prices are fair!

After visiting with my grampa, my boyfriend and I always stop by here and the last few times ice been getting a lucky charm topped shake and it’s AMAZZZING. The workers are always so attentive and give a warm welcome as soon as you walk in!

Dave’s Hot Chicken has brought fun back to fast food! So good. The cashier was really helpful too. I don’t understand why people would wait in line at biring in and out when they could get something of quality at Dave’s.
