Im gonna start with the best thing…my sub supreme sandwich. This might be a top 3 sandwich I’ve EVER had. The pastrami and beef were so tender. This sandwich brought me to flavortown twice…once at the restaurant and again at home eating my leftovers. My wife got a burger which she said was very good…the bun was perfect for the burger. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We went for a late lunch so it wasn’t to busy but I could see how you would wait around dinner time as the dining room is not very big. I would highly recommend this establishment and can’t wait to go back again.

Waitress was very good- friendly, but she was the only one working so didn’t get around to asking about refills until we were almost ready to leave. That’s not her fault though. Food was just okay. I got the roast beef sandwich and it kind of had a funky taste to it. The meat was not very good quality and I just wasn’t impressed with it overall. The cream of mushroom soup was very good. This isn’t a bad place, but I don’t think I will eat here again. Prices were fair for the portion sizes, but as I said, the quality just wasn’t there in my opinion. Nice sized parking lot nice bar area and I know a lot of people like this place so I’m sure their business will not suffer.

We stopped in on Valentine’s Day and ordered the Surf and Turf. It was fabulous!!! Steak was tender and juicy and shrimp done beautifully!!!! Another bonus when we ordered Spreckers, our waitress brought us frosty mugs to enjoy. The staff is amazing!!!! Thank you so much for making our night delightful and delicious!!!!!

I didn’t have high expectations. But any expectations that I might have possibly have had for any place.
We caught lunch and they were celebrating restaurant week. We started with the marinated tomatoes. They were truly the only weak spot in the meal. Tomatoes are difficult to use in the winter. The wife has always loved Monte Cristo sandwiches. The open-faced version that was on the menu was a pleasant surprise.
I had chosen the haddock sandwich. It was seasoned perfectly and when you topped it with grilled onions and mushrooms and a blue cheese tartar sauce, my mind was blown.
We ended with a scotcheroo and a brownie. Both were humble but tasty endings.

Chalice Restaurant. Don’t miss it. Went for Lunch during Oshkosh Restaurant Week 2026. Easy to get there, cozy atmosphere, Superb food, Outstanding customer care.
We had the Apple Waldorf & Creamy Cole Slaw with Pineapple – if you like slaw, adding some pineapple is an upgrade. Next, Cream of Mushroom Soup, lots of mushrooms & served at just the right temperature.
There’s lots more. Entree was the Balsamic Bleu Haddock Sandwich. The Haddock is grilled with grilled onions, Bleu cheese with balsamic glaze on French bread. Think of this sandwich, these great tastes come together in the right proportions & simply delicious. Finish with the Salted Caramel Butter Bar. Have it all with a tasty, fully loaded Bloody Mary. We now have a new regular place to share and enjoy. Thank you Lori.

Today I had lunch at The Chalice at 1741 N Main St, in Oshkosh, WI. After parking, I went into the restaurant and was quickly greeted by the bartender who welcomes me to the restaurant and seated me. She was excellent at her job and ended up serving me. I ordered the tomato salad.aa.a starter, good choice. I then received my roast beef sandwich. It was very good. To finish my meal, a piece of fudge was placed on the table. A great touch

Went there off of there google reviews, and let me tell you they didn’t disappoint. I have eaten a lot of reuben sandwiches in my 60+ years. But the quality of the meat and the excellent choice of sauerkraut along with the tasty cheese all put between two slices of heaven. And don’t forget to slather it with their special sauce. You have the best Reuben I have ever eaten. Thanks for such an amazing dining experience.
