It’s been a couple years since l’ve been here. So many options in Reno. It’s hard to revisit some places. But my wife and I had a wonderful evening.
Bree was our waitress. She was extremely nice and entertaining. Sometimes you go out on a date night with your wife and you want some privacy, sometimes you want some entertainment. Bree seem to realize that we wanted some entertainment lol.
What we ordered:
Smoked whiskey, old-fashioned
Castaway cocktail
Ribeye steak with a baked potato
Salad
Chocolate thunder under down under
The food was out pretty quick and I gotta tell you for the price. It is one of the best steaks around. There was a time when outback was the most expensive place to eat, but post Covid. They did not raise the prices as much as other places so now it is a cost-effective place to go for dinner.

I went here for Veterans Day. They offered a 3 course meal for me and my spouse, no charge. There were 2 sides (one was the starter salad/soup), a choice of 4 or 5 entrees (but its a steakhouse, so I’m definitely getting steak), and a slice of cheesecake with either chocolate ganash or strawberry sauce.
As you might guess, with such an awesome gift to us vets, this place was packed with around a 60-90 minute wait (thats very not normal here). Still, my server did her best; she was working so hard that I don’t think I saw her one time without sweat on her brow.
The food was amazing, wel spiced, and just so dang tasty. I paid the extra 3$ for the premium side (chili), and it was totally worth it; I should have gotten the bowl instead though. It really was that good.

We had dinner at the Outback Steakhouse and had an incredible experience thanks to our waitress Brie.
Our family travels all across the West Coast for youth travel football, so we eat at a lot of different restaurants and experience a lot of different service. I can honestly say Brie was one of the best servers we’ve ever had.
She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and stayed on top of everything throughout our meal. Drinks were always full, food came out great, and she made sure our entire table was taken care of.
Great attitude, great service, and she truly made our dinner experience outstanding.
If you’re dining at Outback in Reno, **ask for Brie — you won’t be disappointed.

Worst steak I’ve ever been presented with.
Ask for medium rare, steak came out extra rare. They took my steak back and punished it some more. Wish I could wash this taste out of my mouth.

Every year at this time we are at an event at the Convention Center for business. We finished setting up early and came into Outback for an early dinner. We sat at the bar and Tanya was tending. She was great and very personable. When we arrived the restaurant wasn’t very busy because it was early, but during our meal, things filled up. Tanya not only tended bar, but covered a number of outside tables as well and never lost her smile or hustle. We have several businesses and one of them is a restaurant so we know how it can be. She was great and so was our dinner! We’ll be back next year!

Overall, it was a pleasant dinner. We made reservations and were greeted and seated promptly. I asked not to sit in the first booth, which was offered to us. The torn cushion could snag pants. Our waitress was very attentive and helped with choices. We both had steaks. One ribeye cooked to perfection and one prime rib. I needed to send the prime rib back as it was overdone. The manager apologized and said it should have never been served.
The next one was wonderful. The salad sidedish was amazing. The restaurant was a little loud with TV’s in most diections. Its food was worth the price, yet the atmosphere was flat. I would go again if invited.

So, today, I had my first experience with Outback Steakhouse, and I was impressed. There were 11 of us, and Tina, our waitress, was amazing. Our drinks were always full, and she made sure we were taken care of. I ordered the sirloin steak with fried chicken, a loaded potatoe with a chopped salad with blue cheese and walnus. It was delicious!!! My steak was medium rare, of course, and cooked perfectly. The taste was on point, and I would definitely come back again. Compared to the Roadhouse from Texas, I’d choose this place any day!! And the blooming onion was pretty damn good.

I recently had an outstanding experience with a to-go order from Outback Steakhouse on South Virginia in Reno. From the moment I placed my order, the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Jo who helped me, was particularly impressive; she understood exactly what I was asking for and ensured that my order was perfect.
The process was seamless, and my food was ready on time. Not only was the service top-notch, but the quality of the food was also excellent, just as I expected from Outback. I definitely recommend ordering takeout from this location if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed!
