The service was excellent. Sunny was very sweet, attentive, and genuinely cared about us having a good experience. She even explained step-by-step how to eat the Vietnamese chicken pancake, which was flavorful and fresh.
I ordered the chicken with ginger and lemongrass, which was a bit bland for my taste. We also had two lemonades and a beer. The total came to a little over 500k VND, which felt on the higher side compared to other meals we’ve had in Hanoi.
The location is great, right in front of the lake, and the atmosphere is pleasant. One small downside was cleanliness — our table wasn’t clean when we sat down, and the glass door could use some attention.

Just tried the vegan menu here and it was fantastic! The creamy coconut soup served straight in a fresh young coconut was so refreshing and flavorful—perfect balance of sweet and subtle. The stewed beancurd (tofu) in black pepper sauce was tender, packed with peppery goodness, and went amazingly with the mixed veggie fried rice loaded with cashews, almonds, tofu cubes, and colorful veggies. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and authentically delicious without feeling heavy.

Had a lovely afternoon lunch here. Ly Trung Viet was our waiter. Attentive, helpful and even gave me the recipe for the pickled carrots!!

Yen and her staff are extremely attentive and we happened to stop by to try the Banh xeo which was wonderful! She sampled how to wrap it in rice paper like a spring roll and it was extremely tasty. We also enjoyed two bowls of Pho ga which is checked noodle soup and a very healthy portion. We had an order of the Pho Dac Biet Ha Noi as well and it was also very good. The spring rolls Pho cuon tom and the authentic Hanoi Spring rolls Nem Ha Noi, were also very tasty with the fresh sour sauce and ginger. We also really enjoyed the mixed passion and mango juice and the fresh ginger and lemongrass with honey tea was an absolute favorite!

Went to Hoan Kiem Lake for a morning walk. Stop by this small Cosy restaurant for lunch as we want some authentic Vietnamese food. The service is very good. The food is very delicious. Normal pricing for high quality food.

The food is very healthy delicious. According to Hao (the teen service crew), the sauce used for my spring rolls is a type of a fish sauce. But it is so deliciously sweet , I couldn’t believe it’s a fish sauce.

it was here where we discovered viet rice pancakes (we had the seafood one) which was easily one of my favourite things i ate during my trip

overrated. bun cha was bad. rice was cold and sticky, and thus was hard to split and put in a bowl to dip. the bowl was too small to put one bite inside, the dipping sauce was ‘blah’, not really tasty. two patties were ok, but chicken came in more leftovers than real meat. I got a part of chickens neck. parts were to big to be eaten. bad experience for the price.
EDIT after 24h: I got food poisoning. before going to sleep, I got bad feeling. about 2am I started throwing up that lasted until 11am. guys, this is discusting. i lost at least one day of travel time, and you don’t the same again. is it unwashed vegetables? idk. is it poor meat quality. idk. and I don’t care. but you guys start taking care!!

Lady Mdm lan is super nice, charming friendly and makes the food even more tasty. Nice quaint restaurant by the lake. Tea is absolutely delicious. We also ask for 2 times chillies and they happily give to us. Will come back again

hidden Gem of a place. Sunny was great in recommending food and drinks for first timers like us. Lemongrass chicken , chicken noodle soup and Egg Coffee was a very nice surprise. View outside of restaurant was awesome facing the lake.
