Laid-back tavern with a big tap list, creative burgers, happy-hour specials & a patio.

Excellent food. We had fajitas, which came with sizzling peppers & chicken platter and portion size set to fill you up. Also fish & chips came with a biggest sized fish I have ever seen. Fish was slightly less on salt, but great overall. On our table we also ordered tacos, which came as a set of two, how you doin burger, served on a ciabatta bread and a chicken sandwich which was not bad. The burger and sandwich come with chips by default, but can be upgraded to fries for $3. Great portion sizes, excellent taste and dont need to wait for happy hour ever to order sub $5 beer all day. Plenty of parking, which is one less thing to worry about. Everything about our visit was perfect. Thank you chef

First things first: this place makes a great burger. They have a list of regular specialty burgers and they also make a smashburger which was excellent. Plenty of options for toppings. Nice rotating draft beer selection. They also have a variety of different loaded fries, definitely recommend the disco fries! There is an indoor bar area and high top seating. Looks like they have some nice outdoor seating as well. I’d recommend sitting in either bar area. The dining area in the back with low-top seating is very crowded, the tables are uncomfortably close to each other and servers have to squeeze by while everyone holds their breath hoping nothing is spilled on them. For “gourmet” burgers, the prices are pretty reasonable. Staff is friendly. Overall, this is a great spot, I’d definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a good burger and a beer!

Stopped in for lunch while my car was being serviced. Server Brian very attentive. Had French Onion soup. Was good, but a little saltier than I’d like. Had the Fish and fries. Fish was flaky and good. A little light on the seasoning though. Wife had the Mexican Corn. She said it was too chewy and needed a little more seasoning. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Was in the area for work and was referred here by a newly found friend from the area. I must say, it was fantastic! Service was super fast, friendly and very attentive. He even recommended the perfect meal to suit my likings. There are a wide variety of beers on tap and the food is more than you’re ready for. This is a great, friendly place to visit with fantastic service. A “must” to visit if you’re in and around the area.

I recently chose Vagabond’s to host a large team dinner for 25 people including adults and children while we were in AC for a competition. It was such a great decision because they were able to comfortably seat our large party in a nice room, there was no wait and we were seated right at our reservation time, food was amazing and reasonably priced, staff were all very friendly and service was really great! We also had gluten and vegan dietary restrictions in our party and Vagabond’s had several menu options for both!! And they have not 1 but 2 large parking lots for easy parking, which was super convenient! Everyone was very pleased and unanimously chose to return to Vagabond’s 2 weeks later for our 2nd trip to AC and again we received the same excellent service! It was a perfect place to get everyone together for some fun, food and hype for their performance! Thank you Vagabond’s for such a great experience, we’ll definitely be back again!!

We decided to hit up Vagabond Kitchen in Atlantic City, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight. The vibe feels like a welcoming spot where you can kick back and enjoy watching a game with friends.
We kicked things off with a smorgasbord of appetizers that had us all raving. The real game-changer was the three way sandwich. It’s no surprise that it was featured on Guy Fieri’s show. This sandwich is a flavor explosion. It’s hard to describe just how good it is, but I’ll give it a shot: juicy, savory, and layered just right.
What I really appreciated was the chance to escape the absurd prices in the nearby casino restaurants. You know the ones where you feel like you’re gambling with your wallet just as much as at the tables. Vagabond offers great food at fair prices, and that is a win in my book.
I genuinely believe that Vagabond Kitchen is a gem worth seeking out. It’s a nice blend of great flavors, fun ambiance, and reasonable prices.

We attended a Mother’s Day concert in town and decided to have a meal here before heading back home. The restaurant was pleasant and clean, although slightly chilly. However, the aroma inside was delightful. It seemed quite empty, possibly because they had just opened. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our food was absolutely delicious. We ordered two appetizers: nachos with barbecue pulled pork and Brussels sprouts. For our main courses, we had a crispy chicken sandwich with fries and a barbecue chicken with ribs (which were incredibly tender) and fries. The Brussels sprouts were exceptionally tasty, caramelized with bits of pork. The nachos were the best I’ve ever had, truly outstanding. The chicken sandwich had an excessive amount of sauce, which I had to wipe off with a napkin. Apart from that, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this establishment. Our waiter was pleasant, although it would have been nice if she had a bit more personality. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Great experience with the family at Vagabond.
Large gravel parking lot right next to the restaurant.
Arrived at about 1pm on a nice Saturday and the place was surprisingly empty. Lots of seating available outside and inside. There is seating at the bar, counter height tables in the front area and standard height tables in the back area.
Reasonable food and drink prices. We ended up ordering some drinks, including some draught beer (~$8). We also ordered the three-way sandwich ($15), which was featured on food network, fish and chips ($19), tacos ($18) and kid’s chicken tenders ($8). Everything came out very quickly and was really good.
All staff, including greeter and waiter, were very nice and friendly.
I would love to return when I am in the area again to try some other items.

Wanted a quick bite (and a drink!) for dinner and decided to hit Vagabond (AC location). I usually eat plant-based and knew from past visits that they offer a fantastic hummus platter and veggie burger. Sure enough, those options were available (thank you for keeping vegan options!!) and I went with the sweet potato fries which were a real treat. The waiter was very helpful when I told him that I was allergic to dairy. He explained what was available, what could be modified, and pointed out which items contained diary. He also pointed out happy hour drink specials. Great price point on the specials. We ordered the hummus platter to start. Now, a hummus platter may sound boring but this isn’t-just try it. It is so fresh and every single time I’ve ordered it, I just dive into the pita. Those little grilled wedges are so, so good. I don’t know if they’re homemade or store bought, but that pita is amazing with their hummus. The veggie burger was really flavorful, not overly salty at all, and a good size. It was a bit mushy for my liking. The fries are seasoned with a little cinnamon sugar blend & it’s just enough to make them really special. I appreciate a fun local spot that offers different options (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian) and I hope that Vagabond will consider expanding their vegan menu!
