America’s diner. Comfort food at the extreme. This store in the vicinity of the Colorado Springs airport is very busy. But turn over is fast. The wait staff talk to you as if you were on the good side of the family. We all know the menu, Waffles and hash browns scattered. Price point $$

Always a pleasant experience here. Food is delicious, just like how your mom or grandma would make it. Staff is friendly and personable. I recommend the Texas Cheese Steak Bowl topped with their creamy gravy! Just one order will feed 1 – 2 people for under $20.00

The food was good. The waitstaff however was rude to put it nicely. Waffle House is usually one of those establishments that have great service all the way through. Not this location. It felt like we were a bother. No smiles, no thanks yous, no your welcomes. Just there. The one with dark red hair was unpleasant. I do not think anyone likes to feel like a bother when grabbing a bite to eat. It seems like an ongoing issue based off of previous reviews.

The food was wonderful. The service, not so much. Both waitresses had zero sense of urgency unless it was with a single man (I think they were friends). All laugh and smiles at that point. My waitress with red/purple ish hair acted as if our presence was bothersome. Normally I wouldn’t mind if I didn’t get any refills. It’s gets busy. But it was essentially dead. When it’s paired with a rude attitude, it dampens the experience. It’s disheartening because Waffle House normally has impecable service no matter which location I go to. If you’re looking for great service, the location off Austin Bluffs is the perfect place.

I know this is waffle house, but this one was different from all the others I’ve been in. Our server was the best I’ve dealt with in for a long time, I wish I could remember her name, I remember a tattoo above her left elbow and a pink bow lol. But the friendliest, and warmest smile, you can tell she actually enjoys what she does. The food is always great.

Waffle house is always a good place to go to have breakfast lunch and or dinner. Yet I especially like their breakfast. Right now it’s a little expensive per se. Had the hash browns scrambled eggs sausage and gravy Bowl very good very delicious. The service by the waiter and the waitress were excellent. It was busy but not unmanageable
