Great way to start off the New Year for sure! First, let me say that the moment my daughter and I walked into the establishment, we were greeted by multiple employees. We were immediately seated at the bar. The restaurant was very clean. The staff and service were exceptional. I never had to ask for extra napkins or refills. Quite refreshing to say the least. The bartender (gosh I didn’t get her name) was so nice and welcoming. We shared our backstories and chatted it up in between the wait. She was the PM bartender that night. This location moved from the Overland Park location and actually really nice and the quality of the food hasn’t skipped a beat! Thank you to the entire staff that night for such a pleasurable experience. We will be back. Much LOVE and Appreciation from STL!

First time visit. The place had a drive thru so I wasn’t sure how good the bbq would be. I also don’t recall smelling any smoke in the area or outside the building which was a red flag. The coleslaw was spicey. It was very good. It could have been great if it was less dry. The mac n cheese was a bit runny and artificial. The burnt ends were decent: tender. The smoked Turkey tasted and looked like it was store bought: Disappointing. Overall it was alright. It was edible. People here brag about KC BBQ. I’m still waiting to be wowed. Texas is winning…

I drive by this place every day for work and decided to pop in for lunch after my flight and was absolutely amazed! The sign says “best sauce” and I believe them. Everything was killer, friendly service, nice and new place, and the smells emanating from the kitchen were delicious! Got some cornbread bites with honey butter, the burnt ends of course, and a side of pit beans, and baked potato salad and was perfect! I tried all the sauces except the fire and am taking a bottle of the honey barbecue sauce home with me.

Went through the drive-thru today for lunch; had never been and didn’t even know it was there. I ordered the burnt end sandwich and fries. There were 3 cars in front of me and I expected to wait but the line moved very quickly for non-fast food. The lady at the window was very polite, my food came right out. The fries were good. Crinkle cut isn’t my favorite but they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside without too much seasoning – I really liked them. The sandwich was a little smaller than I expected but I started out without sauce so I could fully taste the meat – it was really delicious. Not too much fat but enough to add flavor, soft, moist chunks with great flavor and a nice bark. The sauce was different than a lot of sauces but I liked it. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience. Service was great, food was great, I will go back when I’m in the area. I just wish there was more meat on the sandwich. Maybe a larger version for a couple extra bucks? Thank you Burnt End

March 2025: Gave them another try. The chicken philly was really good! The butter cake was still, amazing. Wouldn’t recommend their baked potato salad – I just wasn’t a fan. Would return for dine-in!

We came here for the first time last night and were absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the quality of the food AND the staff. Riley was a fantastic waitress and really made our experience more pleasurable. Everything was top notch. Can’t wait to come back!

Came for the Corned Beef Burnt ends and they did not disappoint. I will definitely go back just for those . Got a 2 meat combo with 2 sides. Got Corned Beef Burnt ends and turkey. Portion size could have been a little more especially on the turkey. The burnt end portion was decent I would have like just a few more but still not bad. The temp of the meat was just barely warm enough but it wasn’t too bad. The chipotle sauce that came with the onion rings was pretty amazing as well. Unfortunately I am not a sauce person so I didn’t think to try it so I have no comment on it. Our server Jason was really good. I will definitely be going back to try more stuff. They also gave me some complementary fried cornbread nuggets that were so good !

Great barbecue, I had the pulled pork sandwich it was amazing. moist barbecue with a light sauce that compliments well. Crispy fries as a side a great but there are plenty of options.

The only thing I would suggest is more seating. Everything we have ever had here was delicious. We drive over 2 hours just to eat here.
