We had a very fun and casual experience at Sandbar! It was our first time and we really were going there based on a very good source that the food was good/ and a surprising VALUE! The decor was well worn but clean. We arrived early and by our departure EVERY table was full. The Sandbar is actually a large fun space with many huge tables to seat 12. Where else does that happen?
We loved our server! Spunky and casually comfortable joking with us, that meant she took the time to get to know us and make us smile and laugh a bit at ourselves!
Our four meals were really tasty and perfectly prepared. Although every fish meal came with choices of grilled/ blackened or fried. We had one health nut choose the blackened grouper and 2 perfectly steamed broccoli sides. The other 3 of us went ALL OUT and had FRIED grouper/ shrimp and a combo of both. Was it great?
YES! We definitely enjoyed the meal and “Redneck Riviera Atmosphere”…… it’s definitely a fun place to take good folks to who want great food and the biggest smile when you see the BIG SECRET: the bill! Great food and a very fair price! Go early or be prepared to wait a bit. Great business and fun clientele…,,

We had a great time eating here. This is a very kid friendly environment and at the same time fun for adults. Everyone working here was so nice and our waitress was such a sweetheart. We will be back and thank you for having us!!

Our experience was nothing short of amazing! Even though the restaurant closes at 10 PM, we arrived around 9 and you’d never know we were cutting it close. The staff welcomed us with genuine smiles, never rushed us, and made us feel completely at home the entire time. The service was outstanding from start to finish, friendly, attentive, and relaxed. It’s clear they care about their guests having a great time, no matter the hour.
Now let’s talk about the food, incredible. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. But if you’re going, do yourself a favor and order the crab legs they were easily the highlight of the night. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and absolutely worth the hype.
Great atmosphere, amazing food, and a team that really goes the extra mile, we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I drove all over Rosemary Beach and a bit of Panama City Beach looking for the right spot to get some nosh and bevy. Sandbar was the most appealing place and knocked it out of the ball park. I went back every day of my trip. Food was incredible, drinks were cold and people were warm. It’s a divey little neighborhood haunt that feels communal and never met a stranger. You can tell it’s a beloved place to be where friends meet, old and new. Abby, Lindsey and Kayla took care of me like the waiters and bartenders do back home and I left just absolutely in love with their service and where they serve. If you’re hungry and want a slice of something new with a side of familiarity, Sandbar satiates. I may never go back to that part of Florida, but I’ll always go back to Sandbar. Thanks for the love, y’all; Sandbar is simply a diamond. ENJOY!

We went on a Wednesday evening as a group of 16. They were able to seat us right away, and we had a great experience. Delicious food (my husband had the snapper and I got the seafood alfredo). It was a good fit for our group because some wanted seafood and some wanted BBQ. Would go back!

Welp, the good, the bad, and the ugly! The restaurant is located at the roundabout at the end of 79 and has no easy way to get into the parking lot except to take your life into your hands because the yield sign is unclear and zero turn lanes exist coming from the north. The waotstaff was excellent, although she had to keep apologizing as we sat and waited for 45 minutes on a sampler platter, which was excellent in portions, selections, and temperature. Our main course, though, was served right behind it, and it was sad in comparison. My black and blue cooked well done (med-rare) was ordered, and hockey puck like cold. The $10 dollar onion rings also were served cold, and we are questioning why onion rings are $10 dollars! The ok part was our grouper fillet, which was thick and cooked perfect but also served cold. Altogether, we paid $100 for a $ 35 dollar dinner at best. I have a feeling we will not be coming back as it seems that this restaurant has some serious kitchen and pricing issues. We feel sorry for the wait staff because people probably are tipping based on the food service and quality, and its not their fault. We were wondering what the night manager was doing as we never saw anyone walking around.

Food was great! The Fried Buddy’s platter was huge! The mixed drink, called OMG, was very very weak. That was disappointing. If we visit the area again, we would eat there (again), but I’ll get a beer instead of a cocktail. It was not busy at all at 2:00PM on a Monday.

Pretty good but if you love wings then please don’t order them here. Smoked and then fried so basically burnt beyond recognition and inedible but the oysters and fries and also the stuffed mushrooms were very good but again, AVOID THE WINGS

I don’t write reviews ever so here we go: Top down the owner strikes up and keeps conversations going. He introduces like minded people, and sometimes opposites, to spark intermingling at the bar while the wonderful wait staff tends to every whimsical you desire you have. The bartender staff seems to vary. Depending on which night you grace the restaurant with your presence, you have a wonderfully delightful down to earth, Kirsten, who is a manager. She helps keep the crowd down to earth at the bar, while expertly explaining the menus delightful delicacies and specials, all along with keeping the locals content. On her seemingly off night there is an especially friendly bartender that, I don’t know her name, on staff to tend to your every need as well, along with an especially friendly wait staff. I very rarly sit at the tables so my experience personally with the wait staff is limited. I did see several hugs and greetings on each occasion. On the chance Kristen is not tending the bar, have no fear there is another cute personality at the helm! She will laugh at every joke you make no matter how many, how bad, how cheesy, or how many times she heard it before! If you do manage to crack a unique “one of a time” authentic joke worthy of a knee slap, it’s the same smile, so pretend every joke is unique one and no woman fakes it. Food is great too. Grecian grouper!

Seaside shack type vibes. I had the seafood Alfredo.
10/10 PLENTY of food. The mussels are amazing, the scallops are so soft and sweet. Whoever the chef is knows his seafood.
1000000x better than margaritaville.
And its SO CLOSE to the beaching. Walking distance.
And there’s a oyster graveyard in the back.
Love it.
Thank you CANDY
