All right, this was a tricky review for me. First, I’ve been searching for the best burger in St. Louis, and let’s be clear, this ain’t it.
The second thing, I’m a firm believer against getting burgers from restaurants, but that doesn’t mean this burger isn’t damn good.
The waitress all but pleaded with me to not bite the burger while the cheese was sizzling. But did I listen? Nah.
As soon as that burger hit the plate in front of me, I picked it up, took the biggest bite I could muster. Then dipped some of the fries into the sizzling cheese.
O.M.P.’s burger.
Absolutely a plus.
Verdicts: Love at 1st Bite or No Love???

Walked in on a late Friday evening and was seated immediately. I like that they are open until 11pm. The food was delicious and so fresh! I ordered the 3 pick appetizer and it was so good! My order was onion rings, mozzarella sticks and chicken wontons. Those were the best wontons I’ve eaten! Our waitress was so sweet and helpful. The only issue was the bartender not being able to make my friend’s drink. Overall it was a great experience!

This place is busy but the service was outstanding. Our waitress Madison was great. The manager came out to visit the customers to make sure everyone enjoyed their food. Great employees they all worked as a team.

On 01/02/2026 at approximately 7:10 PM, I visited Applebee’s and sat at the bar. I was not greeted upon entering, nor after being seated.
When I attempted to order drinks and asked about the contents, the bartender/server responded with attitude and stated that the information was “on the menu.” This was inaccurate, as the drinks in question were promotional items and not listed with details. If she was unsure, a simple acknowledgment would have been acceptable.
The experience worsened when ordering food. Nearly every item ordered became a debate, as if the server was unfamiliar with the menu. Throughout the ordering process, she had her back turned, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional.
This was the worst service experience I have encountered. The interaction made us feel unwelcome and disrespected, and as a result, we left without ordering. This appears to be an ongoing issue at this location and should be addressed.

Wonderful, I just had nothing better to do after a very sad event. A home going celebration. So i just stopped in for a drink and a snack. Ran into others thinking the same thing. Let me tell you , from the time I walked in to the time leaving . We forgot our troubles. And had a very nice time. The hostess, the servers, even the bar tender got in on the fun. We were just loud and forgot there were other people in the restaurant. We calmed down a little. The food was great our snack turned in to the 2 for 35 or 30 what ever no one was counting. So thank you for not putting us out. I promise to do better when i return. Everyone tipped and enjoyed the service.

Quickly sat at the bar so we could watch the Chiefs vs 49ers and our waitress was amazing. She was friendly and attentive and wore a head covering but I don’t recall her name. I asked for something sweet and frozen and she delivered!! Good convo with other patrons and our burgers were amazing! Will def return!

Great dining we usually go between 11am & 3pm. Went on Fri evening 6:30pm moderate crowd was able to walk on to seating for 4 with no waiting. That was a lucky break. Service was a lil off key. Had to send one dinner back 3 time and 1 turned down and changed. Asked 3 time for salad dressing and sides. This is not my normal experience and I will return.
