Everything was delicious. I was happily surprised by how crispy my corn nuggets & garlic toast were when I received my order. Usually items like that get soggy from the styrofoam to go container but these didn’t.

Picked up a family meal for $60. The brisket was bone dry. The ribs are literally just a rack of bones with bbq sauce. Everything seemed to be old and dry. The sides were good and the service was fine. But the quality of the food was terrible.

Waited over 30 minutes to get our food and was not what I remembered. Wings and brisket were dry. Pulled pork was OK I guess. Bread was hard. Definitely not worth the $60 we spent.
The waiter did keep checking on us though as we thought we would have to fill up on tea.

Visited on 12/15/25 and ordered a takeout 4 meat combo (baby back ribs, white meat chicken and dark meat chicken) with green beans, baked beans and toast. It took less than 10 minutes even with 3 other customers before me, and the counter personnel were all very efficient and friendly. The food was exceptionally good; the ribs were moist and very tender but I must say that the chicken quarters were the star of the show on this visit. They were moist, tender and delicious with just the right amount of smoke. The fixings were good also. We began visiting Sonny’s this year for the first time, mainly because we live in an out of the way area. However, I have to say that we have been several times and have never been disappointed. I have to add that the prices are very reasonable, and the portions of food are more than adequate. My husband and I always share a platter. We will continue to support Sonny’s as one of our favorite BBQ restaurants.

We had an amazing experience thanks to our waitress, Nina! She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down. She was able to juggle our big group and made sure our glasses were always full. She really knew the menu and gave great recommendations (which turned out delicious!). You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and enjoys what she does. We will definitely be back!

Sonny’s BBQ I have always thought it was good. Tonight though the Brisket tasted good it was a bit tough. I needed a knife, one was not provided. My server was a sweetheart, her name is Chloe. She does a great job with a sweet attitude. Back to the Brisket, from my recollection they used to slice it thin and pile it on the plate. This time 4 somewhat thicker slices and tough. Chloe did ask if I needed anything, I asked for a knife, which she brought back quickly. Th brisket did taste ok….just ok. The slaw was ok too and the beans were ok but there was more sauce than beans. Actually the portions were “thinned out” in my opinion. Lastly, I had cornbread, which was good. Overall Sonny’s is ok, it fed me, but I don’t think I got my money’s worth on the brisket. The best thing they got going is they have good servers.

We came here last night with a party of about 13 people. I just wanted to say that our waitress did a wonderful job. I can’t remember her name but she was a young blonde girl who had mentioned that she was new to serving. The food was also delicious and came out within a timely manner.
