On a rainy winter day, we enjoyed a mixed seafood platter and fried dishes on the outdoor terrace. The fried squid was especially delicious. The portions were more than enough for four people — we even had leftovers. The seafood was extremely fresh. Highly recommended!

I’d give this place a 5 just for their Rosada fish , honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly fried, fresh, with that squeeze of lemon that makes it heavenly. The food overall is super delicious, you can tell they really know what they’re doing in the kitchen.
That said, the ambience and cleanliness could use some attention, and the staff looked exhausted, which gives a bit of a sad vibe. So I’ll keep it at 4 stars, but the food alone is absolutely worth coming for.

It was our first time in Málaga and our very first night out, and choosing Los Mellizos Soho turned out to be the perfect decision. Even without a reservation, the staff welcomed us warmly and quickly arranged a table for four, which immediately made us feel at home.
The dinner was excellent—we enjoyed fresh fish, tender calamari, and a flavorful seafood paella, all cooked to perfection and full of authentic Andalusian flavor. Portions were generous, and the quality of the seafood was outstanding.
The service was professional and attentive throughout the evening, and the lively yet relaxed atmosphere in Málaga’s Soho district added to the charm. A wonderful start to our stay in the city—highly recommended for seafood lovers!

On Sunday evening, 21.12.2025, I landed in Malaga for a long-awaited vacation. As bad luck would have it, that evening I went to the Los Mellizos Soho Malaga restaurant for dinner. I had the Rosario fish with vegetables. That night I had a very painful stomach ache and I vomited all night, every hour. The next day I started taking medication and started recovering, but the evolution is stagnant. I am going through severe abdominal pain, with an inflamed stomach and intestines. It is the sixth day spent exclusively in the hotel room, without being able to eat anything and I can hardly move from bed to the bathroom and back. Tomorrow I have a flight back home and I don’t know how I will cope.
I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Sorry, the food was delicious, but unfortunately the service was very bad.
The first waiter who welcomed us (the bald waiter) was polite and respectful. However, the second waiter who served us was not.
He did not speak English, was not helpful, and his way of speaking and dealing with us was not respectful at all. When we tried to talk to him in English and he did not understand, he would go inside and make fun of us with his colleagues, which was very uncomfortable and unacceptable.
Also, the spoon and fork were dirty, and when we asked him to change them, he brought us cutlery from another table, not clean ones.
Because of this, our experience was bad even though the food was good.

The seafood and paella were delicious. Meat and chicken are overcooked, inedible. A separate topic about service and cleanliness. They sat at the table where the plates were dirty, the glasses were dirty, touched with hands, it was not pleasant.
We had to wait a long time for the order to be accepted, then after the snacks we sat for a very long time with dirty dishes and after about 40 minutes we received hot dishes, although the restaurant was not full. If you can handle the service, the food is worth tasting.

On my first night in Málaga, I dined at a lovely restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, especially since I was dining alone. The sangria was delightful and bubbly. I appreciated the option to sample fresh seafood offered individually, so I chose an oyster, along with scallop and prawn. Both were fresh, and the scallop was perfectly cooked. The fried octopus (pulpo frito) was served in bite-sized pieces and was well-prepared, though I would have liked a bit more lemon. The calamari was scrumptious and crispy, and I especially enjoyed that it included tentacles, my favorite part. I noticed several other solo diners, making it a great spot for those seeking a nice meal alone. I had booked the restaurant online a few weeks prior, but it wasn’t very busy when I arrived.

Atmosphere is nice and calm and you can really enjoy.
They offer variety of dishes and everything we ordered was good and tasty. Fish was fresh and well preapred as well as salad.
Staff is nice and helpful and they can recommend you dishes if you are not sure what to order.
