My husband ordered a meat dish — the portion was very generous, beautifully presented, and the quality of the meat was excellent. However, we both felt that it was slightly under-seasoned. It seemed to lack a bit of salt, pepper, or additional spices, so the flavor felt a little too mild for our taste. Maybe it’s part of the restaurant’s concept.
I ordered the fish — it was very tasty, but I was a bit surprised by the noticeable difference in portion sizes, as the fish was quite small compared to the meat dish.
The service was excellent — attentive staff, a pleasant atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our evening.
One more small suggestion would be to consider updating some parts of the interior. For example, the restroom doors looked quite worn and scratched, which doesn’t fully match the overall level of the restaurant. It would be great to see everything aligned with the quality of the food, service and prices.
Overall, we definitely recommend this place and would be happy to come back ✨

I had a wonderful meal at Baires Argentinian Bistro—the staff there were accommodating and the food was great—but my experience with the RK Centre itself was a nightmare.
Be warned: this centre employs predatory security guards who watch patrons. As a veteran dealing with back pain, I stepped away from the restaurant briefly to retrieve my medicine. In that short window, my car was towed. It feels less like a shopping centre and more like a coordinated scam to shake down customers.
I had to pay 210.00 to get my vehicle back, but the cost wasn’t just financial. I had to take a Lyft to a very questionable neighborhood to reach Dolphin Towing, where I actually witnessed a physical fight breaking out while trying to retrieve my car.
It is corrupt and scammy to prey on people who are actually spending money at your tenants’ businesses. I will never eat here or visit any shop in this centre again. The convenience of the location is not worth the risk of being targeted by their security. Avoid this place at all costs.
First, we were seated right by the front door. The table was so close to the hostess station that we constantly had people standing over our table. Plus it was a chilly night, so with the door opening often, it made for a very unpleasant experience. I understand trying to fit as many customers as possible, but not at the expense of comfort.
Second, service was subpar. Maybe because an automatic gratuity was included in the bill, our waiter didn’t seem to care much. He was petty aloof and barely there. Drinks took forever to get, even glasses of wine – by the time we got them, we were mostly done with the meal.
Third, the food was not good. Between 3 different steaks, one fish dish and the parrillada (mix of meats) the favorite was mashed potatoes. Steaks were dry and under seasoned, ribeye was too thin. Chicken and sweetbreads in parrillada were extremely overcooked. Truffle fries tasted much like fast food frozen fries.
They have Happy Hour Mon-Fri 4:00pm -7:00 pm, which we went to last Thursday. The bar has only 6 seats and there were 6 of us. The 50% off discount is only applied to bar food and drinks and you have to eat and drink at the bar. I don’t know how it is handled if other people want to enjoy the happy hour seating and eating rules. But it worked out good for us because we came early.
I’m only reviewing what my daughter and I ate and drank, not our friends’ orders. Our bill has everyone’s food and drinks on it but we split it up and we paid for our own. The restaurant adds the tip on the bill, even if you buy one drink, they add the tip.
We had the Beef Carpaccio, Provoleta (fried cheese), and fried Beef Empanadas. They were very good! My daughter had a custom white Sangria made for her and I stuck with water. Our server, trainee B, was friendly and attentive.
Parking was not an easy thing to accomplish. All spots are shared by all the businesses at the Plaza. So there are designated spots for deliveries in front of the businesses and the customer has to park wherever there is a spot and not necessarily close to the business you are going to! This was the only problem for us in coming to Baires. Otherwise, we will come back again in the future but not for the happy hour because of the small bar, lol. Looking forward to having their Skirt Steak!
