Nice family restaurant that does other things than just BBQ. We pride ourselves on giving great food and service to everyone. Please enjoy our large portions that you can share or eat it all alone and leave happy and full. But always try to save room for our raspberry filled doughnuts.

This was a great evening out with family. I had a BBQ burrito deep fried and it was amazing! Even better, all of our meals were affordable. The waitress was very nice and helpful. Overall great experience and will go back again!

First time stopping in for lunch. We had the smoked meatloaf special.
We were promptly greeted and seated. Service was awesome. Lunch came out within minutes of ordering. The serving size was more then expected. Plus the meatloaf was very tasty.

This was such a fun addition to our date night repertoire! Dana was out server and gave excellent tips and service! The food was delicious, the portions were nice, and the napkins were plentiful! The restaurant was clean and not sticky, everyone in the place was smiling, including the staff, and we will definitely be going back again! It was a quick drive from Lawrence!

We tried this restaurant while passing through Ottawa. It was good BBQ, but lacked smokey flavor in my opinion. My ribs were fall off the bone tender, but I thought should have been left to smoke a little longer to soak up some more smoke flavor. Don’t get me wrong. It was good BBQ but I’ve had better. Great atmosphere, and friendly waitresses.

Went there last night 11-17 for dinner with a friend that lives in Ottawa. The food,service and price was good. I had the deep fried burrito I think ne time I will have just the regular type of rolled flour tortilla Also had a baked potatoe and it was really great. We live in Olathe but we think it would be worth the drive and meet our fried.

OMG! Run, do not walk, to this restaurant! The name says it all…. It’s not just another barbecue place! These are culinary creations! Try the Touchdown Burger… incredible. Wonderful barbecue sandwich for me with sweet potato TATER TOTS. Bonus…. Homemade jelly donuts for desserts. We travel from Texas to the Midwest often and plan to make this a traditional stop whenever we’re near Ottawa! DELISH!!!!

Wow! A definite must-eat place when we’re in town. Great taste, ample portions (pic below is of HALF the smoked turkey sandwich), friendly staff.
4 months later – took elderly relative there. Our waitress noticed she was having a hard time chewing the chicken tenders, so brought us some fresh ones. And we mentioned her birthday, so the waitress brought her some cake too! TINA – great service.

This place is a very solid BBQ restaurant. Well priced for the portions you get
I got their chicken special ($13) and it was cooked perfectly and the flavor was fantastic. My friend got the brisket sandwich. Brisket is very moist but lacks flavor. Fortunately their sauces are very good.

We were driving through Kansas and I’m so glad our meal time hit near Ottawa so we could try our Smoked Creations. 10/10 – would highly recommend.
The restaurant was busy since it was a Sunday afternoon, but they let us sit at the bar so we didn’t have to wait.
The bartender/server, Kirsten, was incredibly helpful and attentive. She gave us great recommendations.
Now to the good stuff – food! I had the pulled chicken tacos. They were light and delicious. It was more than enough for one person and I’m looking forward to round 2 with my leftovers tomorrow! My husband had the smoked wings with Buffalo sauce. And, a big plus for him, they brought 3 blue cheese dipping sauces! He liked the wings so much that he ordered a dozen to go to enjoy later.
I was equally impressed with the food prices as I was with the taste. We don’t make it to Ottawa often, but we’ll definitely stop at Smoked Creations every chance we get!
