Had to eat here since my husband’s name is Mark! ❤️ This place did not disappoint- I had the lite portion of brisket with baked beans and my husband had the loaded baked potato with brisket and Mac/cheese. The sweet tea was off the charts and of course Mr. Pibb was a plus too! Both managers visited us while we were there. Service was excellent! Of course, Mark bought a t-shirt. Would love to have Louisville, KT on it since we are from Texas, but at least, we have the memories! Highly recommend!

A fun stop when passing through Louisville.

The surrounding neighborhood is filled with cute shops, bars, and eateries, and Mark’s is clearly one of the most popular places in the area. The food was delicious, especially the honey wings, and the service was perfect. My only criticism of the pork and brisket was that it was a bit dry, but the sliders were still nice. The sauces were decent but not mind blowing. As for the service and atmosphere, we had a lovely experience and enjoyed leaving our mark on the big world map.

We stopped in on our way home from Ohio to GA and had the absolute best experience. Our server was friendly and had great recommendations. Our food was amazing!
I accidentally left my purse and didn’t realize it until the next day when we were back home. I called and the wonderful manager is having it mailed to me! So thankful for him and glad we stopped in!

I made Mark’s Feed Store my first meal in Louisville, and I was happy with my choice. I got a bowl of burgoo stew with a pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich BBQ was delicious, but the burgoo was the star of the show for me. I don’t know if I’ve had such a savory, flavorful stew before. After that I found out there was a special on dessert, so I got a delicious piece of buttermilk pie. The food was all great, as was the service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for barbecue or a hearty meal.

Mark’s Feed Store status immediately upon entry and we got to choose which table we wanted because it wasn’t packed. They had options for our friends that were gluten-free and had nut allergies. We had a great experience. Our server was so nice and our food was delightful. It was beautifully cooked. I had enough for leftovers. Mark’s feed store doesn’t disappoint. My favorite part is the pasta salad, I can’t wait to eat it again.

Very generous amounts of foods! I loved it
I ordered a brisket dinner platter, which comes with two sides of your choice. The staff were super friendly, especially Chelsea! She made the experience even better! We received a complimentary bottle of barbecue sauce and a dessert!

I recently dined at Mark’s Feed Store, and I must say, it was a delightful culinary experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with great service and a warm atmosphere. The smell of barbecue filled the air, promising a fantastic meal ahead.

The barbecue here is exceptional, boasting a freshness that sets it apart. The meats were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The ribs, though not fall-off-the-bone tender, had a fantastic smoky flavor and a crispy outer layer that added a delightful crunch to every bite. The attention to flavor is truly commendable.

What stood out to me was the impeccable condition of the bathrooms. They were well-kept and spotlessly clean, a reflection of the restaurant’s commitment to hygiene and a pleasant dining environment.

But it was the cornbread that stole the show. It was nothing short of amazing – moist, crumbly, and with a sweet, golden crust. It perfectly complemented the barbecue dishes and left me craving for more.

In conclusion, Mark’s Feed Store is a must-visit for any barbecue enthusiast. The great barbecue, freshness, and top-notch service make it a standout. While the ribs may not fall off the bone, the rich flavor and crispy exterior more than compensate. Plus, the delightful surprise of the cornbread elevates the entire dining experience. A top recommendation for barbecue lovers!

Traveled to Louisville and looked up the best BBQ…they were not wrong! The chicken wings with some kind of honey glaze were the best my husband and I have ever had! But you have to be sure to save room for the buttermilk pie for desert for sure! The brisket was very tender and delicious. The side options were hard to pick from but they make a mean potato salad and baked beans for sure! Our server Britney was so kind and very attentive! Definitely would recommend to anyone traveling to the area!!

Love this bbq spot. We come down a couple times a year from Indy just to eat here. Always get the “birds in a nest” for an app, which is honey wings with the perfect crispiness in a bed of onion frizzles. I got the ribs with sweet potato fries that are tossed in cinnamon sugar. Ribs were falling off the bone and amazing per usual. My bf got the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and mac and cheese. He said everything was really good. Another item that’s a must when we come to Marks is the buttermilk crunch for dessert. We opted for no nuts so it was a mug with pieces of buttermilk pie, vanilla ice cream, and Carmel sauce. I think you could open a restaurant that just sells buttermilk crunches and lines would be out the door lol. It was a little chilly inside today and they had someone working on the stairs so it was a little loud at times but it would have to be a lot worse to keep me away from this place. Also the area around this location is full of super cute shops to explore.
