Ordered at 8 pm got food at 8:56 3 burgers chili spaghetti and 2 of the saddest chicken “tenders” ever. I used to be a waitress at steak and shake mind you 24 years ago when they actually had service. No wonder your place is empty. Won’t come back. Just a sad place bidding time til you go under and close.

Well, guess I haven’t been to Steak ‘n Shake in awhile. Instead of being greeted by a person I was greeted by kiosks. Ordering was easy and you get your receipt with your order number. Then you go find a place to sit. Your number is called and you go up to the counter and pick up your meal. I get it, cost cutting, staffing issues but it feels like they’ve lost something. Lost some charm maybe. Now it’s no different than going to any other fast food joint.

Haven’t been to S&S for years. Very surprising to find that orders are taken by kiosk only. However, food was prepared rather quickly. I would suggest that staff be mindful of amount of whip cream vs shake.

Reasonable prices and they have romaine lettuce even on the small hamburger. The fries were lukewarm, they should have been hot for as long as we waited. If you have a baby that needs a highchair; I wouldn’t recommend you put them in the highchair at Steak ‘n Shake, because the highchairs are filthy. The bathrooms (my husband said the men’s too) where dirty.

Wanted something fast, and we could only agree on Steak ‘n Shake. I absolutely love this place despite the wait. They never disappoint. Wanted a shake, but I had a 2 hour drive remaining. Give them a try if you’re in the area.

Clean restaurant. Self order kiosk is easy and makes ordering faster, also safer considering germs. Sanitize stations throughout restaurant. Staff was fast and polite. Food was good. Definitely good spot to eat, try the Frisco burger! Inside diner was open til 11pm and drive thru says 24hrs.
