Our salad and drinks came out within about five minutes, which was a great start. The main dishes took around 25 minutes, which was understandable given how backed up the kitchen was. My wife ordered spaghetti, and I had spaghetti with meatballs. The food tasted good overall, but it arrived warm rather than hot, likely due to the volume of orders that night. Portions also felt a little light—either that or we were just extra hungry, lol.
Even with the crowd and minor hiccups, we truly enjoyed our evening. Celebrating 22 years of Valentine’s Days together made the night special, and Olive Garden still provided a pleasant, memorable experience.
Everything was delicious from beginning to end, salads, piping hot bread sticks, each entrée was exactly as described.
Our server, William T, was very courteous and prompt.
We look forward to returning on a future shopping date.
We went in on Saturday, November 1st and I ordered chicken and gnocchi and steak Gorgonzola. My husband ordered chicken and gnocchi and the unlimited pasta…huge mistake. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food and the managers brought out our food, an indication that the runners or servers were busy. Our server never came back to check on us. We saw her a total of two times. We waited almost an hour after our food came and meanwhile my husband was ready for a second serving of the unlimited pasta, I needed a drink refill and a box. Finally, we went to the host stand and found a manager who ordered his refill. We had to go back to the host stand again for a box and later, had to ask a server working with other tables for my drink refill. We finally saw our server working with a party of about 8 and no word of apology that we had been completely forgotten. 4 people worked to get our party of 3 (two adults and a four year old) taken care of. Bizarre and unprofessional. The restaurant was not super busy but if our server was overloaded with her party of 8, we should have been given another server. There were three hostesses and a manager at the front of the restaurant. We still tipped our 20% and didn’t make any kind of fuss but we won’t be back to this location.
A white customer openly said he did not want to sit next to us because we are Mexican. This comment was offensive and unacceptable.
I want to be clear: the restaurant itself and the service were good. Our waitress was kind and even asked if I wanted to speak to the manager, which I appreciated. I chose not to at the moment.
However, I think it’s important for the restaurant to be aware that racist attitudes from other customers can happen, and situations like this should be handled quickly to protect everyone’s dignity.
No one should feel uncomfortable or discriminated against while simply having a meal. I hope Olive Garden continues to ensure a welcoming and respectful environment for all.
What I liked:
• Food was tasty and well‑prepared.
• The ambiance and overall vibe were decent for a casual dinner out.
What didn’t work for me:
• The table beside us was very loud and disruptive.
• When we politely asked staff if they could ask them to quiet down for consideration of other diners, the waiter said the manager said there was “nothing she could do.” That felt like a lack of effort — I believe even a quick walk‑over and a polite reminder could’ve made a difference.
• The noise affected our enjoyment of what should’ve been a calm, relaxing meal.
Overall: Good food, but the experience was dampened by poor noise management. I’d go back for the pasta — but maybe at a quieter time or sit at a table far from loud groups.
