We have been enjoying this lovely retreat from the Valley for fifteen years, and we have never been disappointed with a meal. Lovely café with super chill servers. We entered standing awkwardly by the entrance because it was busy, but they made us feel acknowledged right away, which was nice.
Scott (if I remember his name correctly) took our drink orders quickly and answered all our questions. Even though we didn’t chat much, talking to him felt like talking with a friend — very relaxed and no judgment at all.
Food was delicious. I especially loved that they have a half sandwich, half soup option — gives you variety without going overboard on calories.

Great place. Definitely worth the stop before heading back home to Phoenix. Great burgers, Great Service. Would have given it 5 star if they had COCA COLA. Sorry but pepsi is not , oh well, no 1 is perfect. But everything else was great.

What a great place to eat! A friend and I went there today and we both had a hard time choosing what to eat. Great menu! The service was awesome, the food was tasty and satisfying. The outside patio area is dog friendly and the inside was a great place to hang out also. Family or friends type of atmosphere. We would definitely go back!

Apparently, there’s a lot of new people at the restaurant. Our server was very nice. The place seemed very clean, including the bathroom. My burger was pretty good. The fried pickles were great. The carrot cake was really good. Our kids liked the mac & cheese. The issue was the price. My wife and I split a burger, we got fried pickles and a slice of carrot cake to go, and our kids got little cups of macaroni and cheese and some fries. We only got three sodas. With tip and tax, it was $85 out the door. That is absolutely preposterous. I know that inflation is bad, but that was, at best, $50 worth of food. Sorry, we can’t afford the place anymore.

I went here with a friend today and we spent an embarrassing amount of time staring at the menu like it was the final exam we forgot to study for. Everything sounded so good it was honestly stressful—in the best way possible. We finally picked, and wow… totally worth the internal struggle. The food was delicious, the service was on point, and nobody judged us for how excited we were when the plates hit the table.
The patio being dog-friendly is a huge bonus (my friends dog now thinks we owe him another trip there), and the inside has that perfect “let’s hang out way longer than we planned” kind of vibe. It’s the kind of place you could bring your family, your friends, or just yourself and your appetite. We’ll definitely be back—if for no other reason than to order the five other things we couldn’t stop thinking about.

The food was amazing, the service was awesome, and we had a great time right up until we saw the confederate flag painting subtly posted up on a wall among a bunch of other art. The staff and workers are the inly reason i didnt switch this to a 1 star rating for that. It is such a shame that a place which should be on the map for what it makes for people to eat and for the great people that work there would put that up.
