My girlfriend and I were craving waffles and in our quest to find the perfect waffle place, we found Jewelstone Cafe. This is a amazing hidden gem! Once you come up the stairs, to the second floor, you’ll notice the quirky and cool decor, its very homey and relaxing. I ordered the Tiara, which was strawberry cheesecake stuffed waffles and a bubble tea. Once I bit into the waffle, I was pleasantly satisfied. Both the tea and waffles were delicious! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

A little more spendy than standard sit down options but well worth it since 100% of profits go to homeless families in the area ❤

If you haven’t been here you’re missing out! This place is a literal geode hidden among downtown. Eau Claire’s very own fairy nook and the waffles are soft and pillowy. The staff is polite and hard working. I’ve been back more than once and I definitely reccomend the Topaz!

The menu and pictures looked great online, so we were excited to check this spot out! The waffles didn’t disappoint and everyone was stuffed when we left. There are a lot of tough decisions on the menu because it all looks great. I’d like to go back and try their paninis sometime too. It was a bit busy on Sunday with a brunch/lunch crowd, but they did a great job of getting food out without too long of a wait. I’d highly recommend.

Service, food, and atmosphere were all amazing. There are so many different seating options, and they are all unbelievably adorable! The food came out promptly and didn’t last very long once it was brought out. The waffles are so filling and tasted great! Mocha tasted better than Starbucks (and was cheaper). The staff was a delight to have around and I will be back soon. I recommend you do the same.

Like a diamond in the rough, you wouldn’t know from the outside what a magical experience awaits you inside. I felt like I left reality and stepped into a fantasy when I walked up those stairs, lit by enchanting lanterns no less. Each room brought me deeper into the enchantment while the smell of homemade waffles cast a spell over the entire place. Words cannot describe how kitschy this place is, but it’s so over-the-top that it creates an atmosphere of pure delight. Leave your adult sensibilities at the door and let your child-self roam free in this wild, other-worldly place.
Oh, and the waffles are AMAZING (no wonder they call themselves a Waffle Bar)! The coffee abundant and well priced. And the salad/sandwich combos are as healthy and tasty as they are affordable. I came for breakfast and then went back again for lunch!
And, like the whipped cream topping to their waffles, this whole enterprise is for a wonderful cause. Read their story and feel your heart grow three sizes bigger. And then order another waffle.

If I could give more than five stars, I would. The vegan waffle was so flavorful and a unique take on savory waffles. Their almond milk latter didn’t disappoint either. The fun, eclectic decor makes the place all the more lovable. Perfect small business to have in this community.
