Hidden Gem for Group Dinners!

Came here with a group of 7 on a weekday. While the neighboring restaurants had crazy long lines, this place was quiet—don’t let the empty tables fool you! Based on the name, I expected a fast-casual “Chinese burrito” spot, but I was pleasantly surprised by a high-quality sit-down experience.

The Food

The prices aren’t “cheap,” but the quality justifies the cost. We ordered a massive spread, and everything was delicious.

• Must-Orders: Truffle Wagyu Fried Rice, Mongolian Wagyu Beef, Sichuan Green Beans, and the Crab Noodles.
• Other notable dishes: Honey walnut prawns, Kung Pao chicken (mild/not spicy), cold cucumber salad, salt and pepper calamari, and crab roe pork potstickers.
• Highlight: The chef even treated us to an early preview of a new steamed dish coming to the menu soon—it was fantastic!

The Service

Service was incredibly efficient. The food came out remarkably fast, and the staff was proactive, keeping our water glasses filled without us ever having to ask. Note: The potstickers take about 10–15 minutes, but they are worth the wait.

The Bottom Line

We spent about $35 per person (group of 7). If you want great food without the two-hour wait typical of this area, this is the spot.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant inside Westfield Valley Fair since before the rebrand, and honestly, this place is underrated. The food quality is solid, the prices are reasonable, the portions are generous and the servers are friendly. I recently visited after they reopened, although the menu is different, everything was still good. The food is delicious and the service is on point.

I ordered the Pork & Green Onion Potstickers, and they were incredible—crispy on the outside, super juicy and flavorful on the inside, with that amazing wok aroma. I’d say it’s possibly the best potstickers I’ve had in the Bay Area, comparable to the quality you’d find in Asia.

I also tried the Wagyu & Truffle Fried Rice, which seems to be their signature dish since almost every table had it. Now I understand why—it’s absolutely worth ordering. Great flavor, great portion, and with the wok aroma as well! I’ll definitely get it again on my next visit.

Highly recommend this spot!

New restaurant at Valley Fair. Very tasty and full of flavor. Generous portions.
We ordered fried calamari and fried shrimp along with the wagyu truffle fried rice. The fried rice did not disappoint. All come out piping hot. Will definitely try the other dishes.

The Mongolian Wagyu Beef and Honey Walnut Prawns were the best of the menu items I’ve had at Stick & Wok. Mongolian Beef had very tender beef and yummy sauce with a little spicy kick. The Honey Walnut Prawns had big juicy prawns that were perfectly fried and dressed with the sweet mayo sauce.
The Crispy Sweet & Sour Pork was also good. Thin slices of pork battered and fried made it crispy instead of pork chunks.
The Typhoon Shelter Shrimp had fried chipped garlic, red chili and fried bread crumbs. Didn’t have a lot of garlic or chili flavor.
The Signature Chow Mein was just ok but I doine the thicker noodles that they use.
Only thing I definitely would not order again is the Wagyu and Truffle Dumplings. Interesting but taste didn’t love up to its name and ingredients.
Good serving portion per order with price range fron $16-$24 of the ones we ordered. Very nice welcoming staff, too.

I am person of habit. Once I liked a particular dish, I would always come back and order the same. So, I love their salt and pepper calamari! Also, their truffle wagyu beef fried rice and mongolian beef taste delicious!

Amazing hidden gem for Chinese food! We ordered two combos that included fried egg with truffle (rich and fragrant, perfectly crispy on the edges), wagyu cheese dumplings (juicy with a creamy, cheesy center), stir-fried noodles (savory, slightly smoky, with great texture), and a surprisingly refreshing avocado smoothie. The soup was light and comforting, perfect to balance the meal.

All that for under $18 after tax — unbelievable value! The portion sizes were just right, and the flavors were on point. Great spot for a quick, affordable, and delicious lunch or dinner during a busy workday. Definitely coming back!

sweet & sour pork is not authentic at all (or maybe just stop calling it 锅包肉 ?) but potsticker flavors are pretty nice!
also i think this place is full-on chatgpt, from posters to dish selections; it feels like an “how far can i go with chatgpt” experiment lol

The service is friendly and super-fast, and the food is delicious.

The $18 lunch special (soup, spring roll, and main dish) is an incredible value.
