One of the restaurants we always go dine in to when we go to Brussels centre. Portion is massive, taste and price wise are veeery good. The sashimis are always fresh, the fish is also well cooked. The service is ok.

It is a good resto if you like japanese foods. They served good bento boxes, katsudon, dimsum, sashimi and more.
I ate here a lot of times already. And only pay cash. I ate here first time and they dont accept debit cards. Only credit so I needed to withdraw cash. shaha but it’s one of my favorite place to eat in Brussels.

Went here looking for ramen and sushi. While there weren’t extensive options on the menu, we both found something that looked fine—this was the only open place within walking distance that had both ramen and sushi. In the end, we both agreed that our food was okay—it wasn’t bad but definitely didn’t blow us away. The shrimp special maki was really tasty; the salmon one was alright. The ramen was plain, and they unfortunately didn’t have the listed extra toppings available. The broth was great though! Most of the dishes went that way; having some good and some less-than parts. For the overall quality, we agreed that it was overpriced. We must add that the service and people at Anata were great, and the place was clean.

The food was just edible, but not good Asian food. Their fried chicken is one of the worst I’ve ever tried. The udon noodles are just okay, and the shrimp didn’t taste very fresh. The crispy sushi have way too much sauce on them. I was disappointed to find out that they don’t accept debit cards (only credit or cash) so I had to go looking for an atm while making my date wait at the restaurant when I was paying the bill. I know I could have easily made much better Asian food at home, which makes me think that the cooks are either given really bad recipes or are not properly trained.

Food was very good and tasty. The staff was very fast and the portion was really big. We had a big noodle bowl, sushi and gyoza. We enjoyed it really much

Ordered the Unagi and was not roasted… it’s ok but I wished more! Prices in the normal range and a massive menu.
No small grain rice but only basmati! This was a huge flaw.

I would say “run away” from this restaurant. The Bad thing begin from I step into. The staff haven’t greeting anything (that asian waitress girl as you know) I ordered Cola with Ice then she served but, without Ice. I asked her for Ice, She said “I don’t have ice”. Wow, Why would’n told me before?! Actually, The waitress crash without say sorry. They haven’t service mind. The Biggest worng things is too burntest food(as you see picture that I attached) This’s not restaurant and I never back again. Before I leaved, I asked asian women that look oldest “This’s your standard for Japanese food?” I said back instandly “I don’t think like that” The real japanese food not do like this. by the way, don’t tried it.

We visited Anata recently for lunch and had a great experience. The location in the city center is super convenient, and the atmosphere feels casual yet welcoming. The lunch menu offered generous portions at a fair price, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. Service was quick and efficient, making it a perfect spot for a midday meal. Definitely a place we’d return to when in Brussels!

Not that bad but also not the best Japanese restaurant. Service was pretty fast despite the busy dinner time. From the Combox (bento), the tonkatsu was nice but a little bit tough but the tempura was nice. We also ordered a fish soup but it was far too salty. Salmon roll was meh as the size of each piece vary, and so does the filling. The donburi was gigantic and had good taste overall, but just a little too wet for my liking.

Food was good but service very poor. We waited a lot and never got our full order even after asking three times. We could not all eat or drink at the same time. Miscommunication among the staff. Lack of transparency in the bill.
