Nope.
Rarely do I find any food I dislike. This place has lots of it. I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites of egg roll due to an odd flavor and unexplained long strings of unidentifed ingredient. Maybe it was onion. Couldn’t really tell. The meat in the egg roll has a boiled organ meat type of flavor. My stir fried “wide” rice noodles with chicken was a huge portion but I only tried a few bites because the noodles were (not the wide fresh kind I love so much) almost stiff and the chicken was all the dark meat, super chewy cartilage type. The sauce was watery although it did have a good flavor.
The pho broth was very bland.
Will not return. I’m sure plenty of people really enjoy this place.

first review ever and can genuinely say I would never get food from there again. $15 for these to have a single shrimp cut in half on either end of the spring roll & 6 pieces of gyoza.

One thing to tell about this place, the quantity is ridiculous! Make sure not to order one item per person, rather share it with 2 or 3 people. So, considering the price, their food is really worth it. We liked the overall taste of the food. We ordered Red Curry and Seafood Pho, both came in a huge bowl! Also, this place stays open for quite late at night, that’s pretty convenient!

When I say the food was amazing, the food is amazing. Pho broth was very tasteful, combination fried rice was delicious, and the spicy teriyaki is also good. So good! Service was pleasant and quick. Atmosphere is okay…it’s south Tacoma Way so you will see and hear a lot of things you never expect to see, I guess dinner and a show?

Been coming here since before I could walk. The food has always been amazing, fresh and tasty. Compared to other negative reviews, I’ve never ran into a problem with service or quality. With it being open into the early mornings, I can easily enjoy a freshly cooked meal late into night!

The menu offers a wide selection of food, but we ordered the traditional Raw beef Pho. The toppings were plentiful, and the water was very cold.
During my meal, I noticed a bug on the window seal next to me. Is that a “cockroach”? Yes it was. I filmed a Brown Banded Cockroach running back to its hole. This is the first time I’ve seen a cockroach in a restaurant. I wonder what the kitchen is like? The restaurant had a Great rating on the window. It sure wasn’t great to me. It grossed me out. I did inform the staff about the cockroach and they apologized.

It was late and felt like to have some pho. But most places were closed. So I came to Pho Tai in Lakewood. I had the raw beef and brisket pho and the appetizer spring roll (Vietnamese) and fried gyoza. The bill came to about $28.
The spring rolls and gyoza were ok, pretty typical. The pho’s stock was ok and the pho was decent. The beef wasn’t bad. All in all it was ok. I guess that I just had to pay a bit more for the convenience of having pho at late night.
