Good quality burgers with reasonable wait times. Milk shakes were ok. Our garlic fries were an oily soggy mess. No table service, self-service sodas and free pickles. Seating is ok but not very comfortable, also the music is loud inside making it hard to have a conversation .

The best Super Duper location for burgers. The burgers are consistently juicier here. They actually will cook your burger to medium-rare when requested. Other locations seem to think medium is medium-rare. Nope. I’ve probably eaten at Super Duper at least 50 times, and the Castro location 30 times.
Plus the people watching of the sidewalk and intersection from the south facing counter stools is outstanding!

I been here during late night when I was craving for a burger while I was very hungry. Upon arrival, there was a bit of a line, but I did not mind it since I needed some time to decide what to get since it was my first time here in general. Finally it was my turn to order and I was met with one of their welcoming, well trained and understanding staffs that made the process a quick and easy one. I decided to order to go since my friend was waiting in the car where parking was not the best option in the area due to the overall safety. Everything was made to order which is the way I like it and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. Luckily I still captured a photo of my order even though I conquered my burger in a minute or two due to hunger. I highly recommend this place to all burger enthusiasts, if you are looking to try something new or in need of a quick bite just like me. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

Honestly. As someone who lives in the Castro, this is the ONLY good restaurant that consistently delivers on food and service.

Burger is good taste! I had the normal one and it’s already double meat, good size for me.
I like the hazelnut milkshake, this is something new that is good to try.
Garlic fries is just ok, not up to what I expect, I like that more garlic with it, I can smell the garlic, but not enough garlic when tasting it. And I like the fries more crispy!

Good burgers here. We had a few Super Duper burgers $9.25 + cheese $1 + egg $1.75 + $1.25 mushroom = $13.25 each; garlic fries $4.25 each; mini burgers $6.50 + cheese $.75 + mushroom $1.25 = $8.25 each. The garlic fries went downhill from before. They are tiny compared to what they used to be and the amount of garlic has diminished. It no longer has that garlic burn. The staff is great at this location. Food comes out relatively quick and the place is clean.

Burger was cold in the middle, and the fries were overcooked – no pickles available – management didn’t seem to care when approached. I let them keep the meal and went to a 24 hr diner on Castro & Market not too far down. Best decision ever.

I think that the food was fine, it was just that it cost a lot of money for the price. We went here for my wife’s birthday hoping it could become a special place, instead we had to go somewhere else after here to feel like we had got enough good. If I would have had an idea of how much food $20 would get you, I would have likely went elsewhere. I think there is better quality and more good elsewhere – as someone who spent $35 here and did not get full.

This is the best super duper in the bay area, I’ve been to almost all of em. I think they season the burgers slightly more, or maybe put a lil more sauce. Idk what it is. Friendly staff. Good people watching sitting watching the world go by. My favorite super duper.

What’s better than a bowl of piping hot ramen after a night of drinking? A good old greasy burger! Yeah!!!!
I was actually interested in locating a Habit Burger Grill, but they’re not in the city. Thankfully our local friends knew of this SF startup.
ATMOSPHERE:
I walked by it numerous times but never noticed it due to its nostalgic look and signage. The inside has a few tables with more outside along the sidewalk. No drive thru.
MENU:
Burgers, milkshakes, soft serve, wine, beer.
FOOD:
Roasted Portobello Mushroom Cheeseburger
Like Five Guys, their stated “cheeseburgers” are double patties. Juicy, tender and full of flavor. Man, this was a damn good mushroom burger!
French Fries
No combos here, but these natural-cut shoestrings were affordable, crispy and tasty.
SERVICE:
It was Pride weekend so the place was pumping. Time from order to delivery was a quick 10 minutes or less.
OVERALL:
A little pricey but so worth it. This burger fan approves!
