This is the best diner in SC!! We were a top of 4 and had dinner and breakfast. My fried chicken livers were FRESH, my fries were fresh cut and hot, and my green beans had so much flavor. The breakfasts came out hot, cooked perfectly, and with huge portions.
We were just passing through, but best believe we’re adding this spot to our travel list next time we’re in the area. I have traveled all over the US and the food, service, and “vibes” were absolutely top 3 of my life. 10000/10

Good old fashion southern food. Breakfast foods is probably their main specialty. However I like their “lizard’s thicket” style menu of picking a meat and 3 sides… you can’t go wrong the fried chicken

Down home meat and three. So good it’ll make you hug your momma.
Classic southern meat and 3, these are going extinct. Thankfully Bill & Fran’s is keeping this southern legend alive.
Do yourself a favor stop in and get some good food.
It’s not just good for your body, it’s good for your soul.
Get back in touch with small town America.

Mediocre menu, definitely old building that needs cleaning. We sat close to the kitchen, it smelled like garbage! Old rotting garbage! Nothing fresh or clean for the 45 minutes we were there. I had the Philly. No flavor, greedy serving 3 chunks of meat, stewed?, 2 chunks of bell peppers and a pinch of onions. Order it if you like bread and a notion of innards. My boy friends pancakes were dark on plate side and visually appealing on plate, light side up. His eggs were fine. He had a sausage link that was thick. It was grilled on one side, not the other. It gad varying shades of pink on it. We brought it home to the dogs after cooking it proper. The wait staff perpetually complained, need out of here…, too busy…, not enough energy for this…, etc. Mgt. should have them clean before going or find that smell and ask kitchen staff to resolve issue. One hamburger was brought to the table behind ours, it was blood red and raw besides maybe an eighth inch brown were it kissed the grill. The customer was complaining about it being undercooked. That is an understatement! Mgt. needs to be available and enforce employees to do quality work. I will not be back! Absolutely

We were driving back home from Asheville, on I-26, and looking for a quick spot for a meal, but not a fast food chain.
We found Bill and Fran’s and decided to give it a try. This was a great start to 2026 for our New Year’s Day breakfast.
The place was packed and you could see every employee working hard as well as working as a team.
The food was great and just what we were looking for. The scrambled eggs were cooked just right, bacon was crispy, but not overdone, and the French toast was perfect.
This also looked to be the happening spot for many of the locals. I recommend this lttle gem in the rough for a nice little meal.
On a side note we ran into old friends from our hometown we had not seen in over 20 years, who also just took a chance on this place. We enjoyed catching up with them and our server was kind enough to not rush us out. (The rush had died down so we were not holding up the table for anyone who needed it)

Wonderful little place. Our waitress was excellent. The omelets were delicious. I read were some people said the decore was dated but I found it to be very natural and the certificates on the walls were nice to see. We will remember this place for sure!

This place is unique!! We had breakfast here twice and the food was great! Good ol’fashioned home cooking the way it should be. The grits are the bomb! Wifey loved the biscuits and gravy!
Servers were definitely locals with history and a love for the community! Deep seated roots and it shows with customers and staff calling each other by name. And it’s generational! The atmosphere was like family!
The facility could use a deep cleaning but was clean enough for daily use! You can tell they move some people through this place and it’s well loved!
We were only traveling through but would definitely eat here again!! It’s places like this that are the heart of the communities that make this country so great!!

It is so cold in this restaurants you cannot enjoy your meal. They need to think more about the customers and less about the cooks. It’s not like this is considered fast food, you should be able to eat without wearing a jacket. The food is just average. The biscuits are doughy and the grits are hard and tasteless. Positive note, they do have good sweet tea.
