Such a cool spot to enjoy some amazing cocktails in such a cozy atmosphere. The menu is simple but diverse, but what I thought is really cool is the last option is tell the bartender what you like and he will create you a drink which my fiancé did. Our bartender Sam hit it out of the park with her likes, and I ordered the La Intensa which could have been one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had it was beyond delicious. I will be returning for that drink, Sam’s experience, and an awesome atmosphere

Awesome speakeasy style bar. Small (15ish tables plus bar space) and doesnt take reservations. Got lucky that there was a table open when we walked in as it was the last one. Booth was comfty, mood lighting was romantic, music was a bit odd for the setting (latin-ish vibes) but not distracting. Drinks were great, had the bartenders choice which resulted in a good interesting drink. Lots of liquor options too and snacking food looked solid.

The atmosphere when you come in is very chill and smooth vibe. Bartenders are cool and the way they make the drinks … Chef’s kiss! OH! We visit speakeasies very often and truly enjoy trying new cocktail bars. The vibe at The Ranstead Room initially felt perfect — intimate, stylish, and exactly the type of atmosphere we usually love.
There were three bartenders that night. The woman and the Mexican bartender were both professional and kind. However, the third bartender (tall, with a noticeably unfriendly attitude) was impatient and borderline rude. My partner was simply taking a moment to choose a cocktail — which is reasonable, considering drinks around $19 to $25 — and this bartender kept coming back in a rushed, almost mocking tone.
The comment that really ruined the experience was when he said:
“What’s taking so long? It’s just a cocktail.”
That level of condescension felt unnecessary and out of place, especially in a speakeasy where the whole point is to enjoy the moment and the service. We had barely been seated for a few minutes.
My husband ended up ordering something quickly because he felt pressured, and although I’m usually the first one to try new cocktails, I completely lost the desire to explore the menu. I ordered a beer instead — which says a lot, considering how much I love trying different cocktails.
The bar itself is beautiful and has great potential, but hospitality is everything — especially at these prices. Unfortunately, one unpleasant interaction overshadowed what could have been a great night

I love the ambiance here… dim lighting, candlelit tables, and that speakeasy vibe that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. If I hadn’t known the door led to the bar, I would have walked right past it.
The cocktails are fantastic. While there’s no real food menu, they do offer a few small bites like olives and popcorn to snack on.
This spot is perfect for a romantic date night or an intimate evening with friends. Definitely better suited for smaller groups.

Absolutely absolutely a gem. I selfishly wish fewer people knew this place so I could spend less time waiting to get in lol… The drinks are amazing. The atmosphere is excellent. The speakeasy-style makes it very cozy and good for chatting with friends and having a nice time. This is definitely going to be my go-to place.

Didn’t have much for food. Just snacks mainly. I was very impressed with our bartender Max. We were there for about 90 mins or so. I watched him make every single drink, and he took a small taste of everything he served to make sure it tasted right before he served it. You don’t see that anywhere. He is a bartender who wants you to have the best experience possible. My wife doesn’t even drink, and he managed to make her a Bartenders Choice that she enjoyed called a Cosmic Dancer. I enjoyed both cocktails he prepared for me, Maduros Flip & Orpheus Under the Influence.

The decor is sexy 70s chic, it’s dark, which made me love it even more…come ready to drink and be merry. No reservations, so there might be a wait list when you arrive. This establishment does not allow standing, so if there’s no bar or booth availability, you can wait to be seated. I’ve come multiple times, and I’m still a fan. Hey, management…good job!

Very comfy speakeasy. It’s hidden on a little backstreet , nice bar, and booth seating. You may have to wait to get in. Drinks were good and the vibe was very retro. Service is a bit slow but I would definitely recommend
