We had the BEST time at Punjabi Palace Brisbane. This was easily the best Indian I’ve ever had. The food came out hot and fresh and you can tell everything was deliciously homemade. The portion sizes were great (we couldn’t finish no matter how much we wanted to)! The waitress was extremely polite and helpful. The atmosphere was great too, lots of people chatting and just a very lively place. I could not recommend more! Definitely worth a visit if you love good authentic Indian cuisine:) ✅

We celebrated our daughter’s first birthday here in january this year and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was delicious and loved by all our guests, and the service was attentive and well-managed throughout the event. They also have a spacious upstairs hall that’s perfect for private parties and celebrations. The staff made everything smooth and stress-free, which meant a lot on such a special day for our family. Thank you for helping us create such beautiful memories — highly recommend this place for celebrations!✨
special thanks to head chef & manager

Couldn’t recommend this place more! The food was absolutely delicious, great portion sizes. They were very vegetarian and vegan friendly, and were very happy to accommodate some things for us being vegan (like naan bread coming out without butter)! The staff were lovely and switched on, great service, and very nice vibes. Would definitely come back here again!

I eat out constantly and rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Punjabi Palace was honestly one of the most disappointing I’ve had. After waiting a long time for our food, the quality simply wasn’t there.
The Food: The Mix Veg was so incredibly dry and tasteless that we left it almost entirely untouched. The Chhole Bhature was mediocre at best; the bhature felt more like small puris or basic bread rather than authentic, fluffy bhature.
The Drinks: The Lemon Lime Bitter and Tea were the worst part of the meal. Both lacked any standard flavor—the LLB was tasteless and the tea was undrinkable. We ended up leaving those on the table as well.
The Service:When I raised these concerns with the female staff member, she didn’t react or offer any explanation, which was very frustrating. However, I must mention that Gokul was a bright spot—he was really nice and served us very well despite the kitchen’s shortcomings.
As someone who appreciates good food and always eats out, I expected much more from a place like this. I won’t be returning.

Punjabi Place – West End
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What I ordered:
• Chole Bhature
• Mixed Veg Platter (entrée)

Review:
• Chole Bhature:
• Bhature were fluffy, golden, and perfectly crisp.
• Chole had a rich, spicy gravy with that classic North Indian flavour.
• Portion size generous and filling — real comfort food!
• Mixed Veg Platter:
• Great variety — paneer tikka, samosa, pakora, and spring rolls.
• Nicely spiced and served hot.
• Perfect starter to share or enjoy solo.

Service & Ambience:
• Quick service, friendly staff.
• Clean, cosy space with homely Punjabi vibes.

Overall:
✅ Authentic taste
✅ Great value
✅ Must-try for anyone craving true Punjabi street-style food!

It is brilliant place for Indian food. Real Indian in Brisbane I would say. We had the Kadai chicken and Naan. It was delicious. I felt like one Naan would be perfect for one person. Mudit was charming and had a great smile. Very friendly person. Will surely return when in Brisbane.

We had such a great experience here! We are from Los Angeles and heard the Indian food is much better in Brisbane. This was not a lie! We got the beef roganjosh and lamb vindaloo curries along with Punjabi naan, chicken paneer naan, and roti. We also had the mango lassi which was unlike anything I’ve tried before. Everything was unique and absolutely incredible, and the staff were sooo kind and so helpful! Shout out to Nav and Atinder . Thank you for making our experience at Punjabi Palace so wonderful!

Unfortunately not a pleasant dining experience as the starter of Lamb Seekh Kebab came with some paper wrapping cooked inside with it that made us feel sick to the stomach when we saw it after eating a couple of them.
Advised the staff who apologised, advising no charge which of course is the least they could do.
We also found it was that noisy we had to shout to be heard, moved to a table as far away from a big group that was mainly responsible.
No plans to return.

Came here for our nephews 24th birthday, last night. There was 9 of us, including my 96 year old father. The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. The food was fantastic, the prices are very reasonable and generous portions.
It was a lovely celebration night. And we were given free Gulab Jamun for dessert. A lovely place, we can highly recommend.
