Super friendly staff and food was served lightening fast!
My only complaint, the brisket was incredibly salty for both of our meals. I like salty, but it was too much. Cornbread was yummy!

Lori K was super friendly and courteous during our visit today. She quickly took our order and checked up on us often during our meal. The food was good overall – although the beef brisket could be a bit more tender.

The catering service was exceptional. I was impressed with the follow up calls confirming what was ordered, date & time for setup, including location. The best part was the food. The quantity and quality was far more than expected . For the price that I paid for 35 people, I will do it again. Everyone enjoyed the food. Thank you so much!

Great food and great value, I really enjoyed going to this restaurant, I’ve been there twice and my first experience was amazing but when I went back during the lunch time the service was a bit bad because our waitress didn’t even approach our table to ask if we needed something and I really needed a drink and napkins but overall it wasn’t such a bad experience and I will definitely go back just not for lunch

I ordered online. The catfish fingers. The St. Louis ribs, sausage, bbq chicken beans, coleslaw and bread pudding. Everything tasted pretty good. Loved the sausage, and baked beans and coleslaw were good to. The ribs were great..but I really loved the catfish fingers with remoulade. For dessert I have bread pudding. I haven’t tried yet but I love getting the ice-cream and whipcream and caramel sauce. Will update on the bread pudding.

I have to first state that I don’t like to eat at chains and will first choose a mom and pop shop, but I’ve never ate at this particular establishment and it was in walking distance to the hotel I was staying at and out of convenience, this was the location chosen by my family. I was very surprised at how good the food tasted. We stopped on Tuesday evening and it was not busy at all. They had a feast for 2 special, which was a $10 savings off the regular menu price. Since it had a large variety of meats and sides, it was the perfect choose of a dinner to try to share with my family (2 adults, 2 toddlers). We all enjoyed the meal and had a little bit of leftovers. We also added mac n cheese in case one of the kids didn’t like the beans or coleslaw. My favorite was the brisket and chicken, but the ribs were good too. Everything was hot, flavorful, and moist. I even liked the cornbread, it was near dessert like.
I would eat here again in the future and will be recommending it to my coworkers that are on travel with me.

Came on a Saturday afternoon and were sat quickly. Our server was super nice and funny (i forgot her name but her nails and makeup had these really cute stars). She got our orders quickly and everything was made fantastically. The drinks tasted great. The food was amazing. We ordered the group platter that said for 2-3 people but it was more than enough for my friends and I. Had a great time, highly recommend coming for the barbecue.

Famous Dave’s never disappoints!!
I use to be sooo afraid of the amount of sodium but everything must be consumed in moderation and Famous Dave’s does a a great job to alleviate my worries!
Let’s get straight to the food!
We order three things :
Burnt ends as an appetizer- which is brisket and thin onion rings. It was delicious! So tender and It cut like butter!
We ordered two combos-
Two rib tips , one with chicken tenders and one with catfish. Everything was so delicious.
The cornbread never disappoints! Buttery and soft!
Service was fast and our server was friendly! Definitely will be visiting this location again!

Unfortunately I had to order 12 slabs of ribs for New Years via a phone call to the catering number because accessing the internet via phone to place the order would not work. The Laurel location has excellent friendly staff who tried to help me place the order, for ribs only, via the family style link. But Google, I believe kept rejecting because messaging said address error. Anyway, I just left the restuarant called catering because I had so much to for my event. I asked for 6 slabs of St Louis, cut individually, and six slabs of baby back cut in threes(they told me in the restaurant it was not possible to cut baby back in a single bones because the meat would fall off the bone and give me a box full of bones. I share all that because the guy who made them Tony, took it upon himself to slice them into 2s. That was EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, IMO. The problem I encountered that I will state as succinctly as possible is the catering staff refused to document my request which was simply bake all the ribs in Dave’s original sauce because I wanted the sauce to be caramelized, not poured on. After two calls to get the almost $400 invoice to state simply what I wanted they told me, “we are not changing the invoice again!” Believe me, if I had the time I would have canceled and drove over to Columbia MD but there was too much left to do for my event. We had to pour the sauce in the one bottle included on some and bake them in the oven. Catering kept acting like my request was foreign. Bottom line, don’t order with the catering department. Do whatever you need to do to order directly with the store. I guess bring your laptop to the store and make sure you can order via regular menu. I was not and am not happy to have spent that much money and not get the ribs as I needed them, just prepared and packaged with the sauce already on them.
