Nice place, greater selection. I had a jambalaya omelette with cube potatoes and rye bread. My wife had bacon. She likes it crisp, and it was perfectly cooked. My omelette was good, not great. The potatoes were done but were not crispy, suggesting they had been sorting around under a heat lamp for a time.
The service was good; Destiny did a great job. Clearly this is a family place. There were kids all over the place.
Neither paper towel dispenser worked on the men’s restroom. I had to use toilet paper to dry my hands.
All in all, it was a good place for breakfast and we would happily return.

Corn and Crab Bisque was FIYA. Breakfast was tasty, and the Monte Cristo was a unique spin on an 80’s classic I haven’t seen at restaurants for a while. I don’t normally like Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, but their’s is really delicious. If you’re a dessert type definitely try a few scoops, you won’t be disappointed. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their menu. Huge parking lot and great outdoor patio for cooler months. For sure a top eatery when in Prairieville.

Great experience overall the first time here. This time, 8am on Saturday, was a disappointment with our food choices. I got the chicken fried steak, which I asked if it was good and was assured it was. Turned out to be a stiff frozen fried patty served with their hot white gravy. Gravy was the highlight. When I asked the waitress, she assured me it was “really good here.” Assumption was it was at least seasoned and hand battered by themselves. Hubby had the French toast with strawberries and blueberries…he said the taste was off on the french toast and didn’t finish.
We will try next time we are in that area and see if it was just an off day….work force isn’t what it used to be in resterants or retail.

Driving back to Houston from New Orleans and decided to stop by Franks. What a great stop.
My wife had chicken fried steak breakfast and I had Frank’s Original biscuits with sausage patty’s. The biscuits are great. Be hungry if you get them. I also got to perfectly cooked over easy eggs to go with the biscuits. Not needed.
My wife said the chicken fried steak was good and tender.
Our server Lynn was great. A friendly professional attentive lady. She was very helpful with any question and was by the table several times to check on us. Outstanding service Lynn.

Everything was fresh, hot, & delicious. Our server was super friendly & helpful. Definitely recommend the fried catfish. My sister recommends the seafood stuffed potato, & my granddaughter recommends the fried pork chops. My great-granddaughter recommends sitting on the table & demanding mommy share her veggies with her.

Top notch service and amazing food. We sat at the bar around 7pm and Anna was on point during the whole service. I got the NOLA Potato and it was 10/10 much better than I expected it to be.
I never had a bloody mary before tonight and apparently Franks is the best in town for them. Great drink presentation and the 1st one looked exactly like the second one.

Great place to eat, food is amazing, my waitress was a sweet old lady and she was the fastest, but she made up for it with her kindness, and attentiveness. If you want to eat at a place the feels like Louisiana this is it. The music playing in like Madi Gras music and it just feels good there. Fairly priced food, really good food! I have been twice in a few days while visiting this state.

my grandparents love eating here so my family comes pretty often, the food is great! however, the service is usually not. we ate here for lunch today and our server was not very nice at all. she told us they didn’t have any straws so my mom went to the car to get us some. when we were leaving, we saw the bar was completely stocked with straws so that was just a weird thing to lie about. she only checked on us once or twice over the two hours we were there. as much as i love the food here, the service ruins it.
