Had dinner here tonight. Food was amazing! Cottage pie and soft pretzels with beer cheese. I’m super bummed I can’t go back before I leave town. Ambience was comfortable but modern! Homey feel kind of reminded me of Cheers! Prices very reasonable. My service was exceptional. Menu is large enough to offer great selections but small enough to not be overwhelming.

I had the Reuben, if a restaurant serves a reuben, wherever I am in the country I try it. I cannot recall a reuben as flavorful, and with as good corned beef as this, hard stop.
The beer selection is good. I shared a few of the ones I tried.
It was 20 degrees so the patio wasn’t in use, but it has great potential for warmer weather.
I will definitely be back, this establishment made my weekend away from home an absolute treat!

We stopped here after a day of hiking and found a quiet pub with a couple of tables playing trivia with a fun and personal trivia host. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing Anarchy burger and the conlann and potato and leek soup! All items are made in house and were fantastic!

Authentic small town pub experience. Went on a Sunday night to check out some local music. Music was good, food was good, vibes were good. Service was fine if a touch slow.

What a great Friday night out here! Came in for a beer and stayed for a few more rounds! Had great live music, that was both fitting and super enjoyable.
I wish i could give the service 10 stars! Eric and his wife are quite the duo! Kind, welcoming, and hospitable are a few words I’d use to describe them!

I love The Tattered Tartan Pub! I live in Atlanta, and my best friend owns a gorgeous lake house on Nantahala Lake, just about 25 minutes from the bar. I was feeling a bit of cabin fever and needed to get out, so we decided to explore downtown Andrews and grab a beer.
The owner is amazing and very friendly, and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend this bar. I love supporting local businesses!

This pub was a unique and amazing experience. We went for the Scotch Eggs and were delighted by how excellent everything was. Let’s be honest, Andrew’s is a small town, and that’s ok, but this pub would thrive in any city in America. The owner, Eric made our drinks, and they were better than anything I’ve had in NC. Then the food came out and it was absolutely next level delicious.
I recommend the Guinness Old Fashioned, the Scotch Eggs, and then whichever dinner suits your fancy.

Loved this place. Had an urge for corned beef & cabbage for Saint Patrick’s Day and this place serves an excellent corned beef dinner. My wife had the Scotch Pie which was also excellent. They had a good selection of beers on tap and otherwise. Service was friendly and efficient. I was very happy with our choice to come here.
