I have nothing but praise for the people at this location, but it’s currently 2:48AM in Ithaca.
I have driven to Watkins Glen three times over the past week for work. Three times I have gambled on BK because it was late and I needed something quick. Three times, my order was hot and ready in less than five minutes. Fries were consistently crispy and fresh. Burgers were hot. But three times in a row, from this location, I got food poisoning! I’m talkin’ the 2~3AM cold sweats kind of rude awakening that I won’t describe in detail, but you know what I mean. I have no idea if I’m just no longer able to eat Burger King, if there’s something wrong inside the restaurant, if someone isn’t washing their hands- no clue. All I know is this is the third strike for this location and I really just wanna get back to bed.
UPDATE:
After going to the BK in Cortland and not getting sick at all, I can safely say there is something wrong with the kitchen at this BK. Three in a row, y’all.

We went through the drive-through for some croissant sandwiches and the lady who took our order was so friendly and professional really really took pride in her job and I was super impressed. I think everybody should take as much pride in their work as they say any job worth doing is worth doing well And she was awesome! The next time I’m in Watkins Glen, I’m gonna stop by here. I’m gonna have myself a sandwich and french fries really impressed. Keep it up girl!

What can I say! Coming from NYC, I’ve never had a burger that tasted this fresh. I’m so glad we stopped here after visiting the state park — it was absolutely worth the calories, lol!

Service was extremely slow, especially for it’s location close to the state park and it being the start of Labor Day weekend. I’m not sure if it was due to limited staff or just inefficiency as their were several employees visible.
I would like to compliment the young person who was taking the orders. He was very efficient and attentive. He kept his cool when he was dealing with a customer who changed his mind multiple times while placing his order.

Beware absolutely RUDE employee! My family of 3 Stopped in around 9:30pm on Saturday, September 6th. Door sign said they were open in the dining room until 11. Cool. We quickly received our meals after ordering and sat down in the dining room towards the back. The food was all delicious. We were halfway through eating our meals when a female employee came in and started snottily YELLING at us that we needed to move, she needed to mop, her shift was ending and she was going home in an hour. She yelled “that’s why those chairs are lined up!” We were initially appalled at her behavior, but started to get up to move to a different table. (Mind you there were no signs indicating the section was closed, there were some stacked up chairs, but 3 tables were available with chairs pushed up to dining tables still) As she walked away and was almost back to the kitchen area, she meanly yelled again “that’s why those chairs are there!” I then decided that my family would be finishing our meal at that table, we would not be moving mid way through our meal, especially after she was so rude. She came back a few minutes later, yelling the same at us again. (Wow, this woman needs a hug or something) I told her that we were almost finished, we would leave as soon as we were done eating, my Husband yelled back at her. A small scene was made. I finished eating and got up, walked over to her at the table she was wiping down and politely told her that if she had just asked nicely for us to move, instead of being extremely rude, we would have. I asked her twice for her name…thinking I could make an online complaint w/BK or something. She wouldn’t say her name…said “I’m just trying to do my job” and told me I could just go up front. OK. So I waited in line to ask for her name and the Manager’s name for my first time in 46 years. There was a Manager on shift who came and chatted with us about what we had just experienced. She was nice, apologized, and offered to compensate us for our meals, which we declined.

They i asked clearly and repeated my order twice to the server for a double western whopper with no onions and tomatoes, and then me and my dad had to wait 15 minutes for our food and I got a regular whopper with no pickles and tomatoes and extra onions!

This location is one of my favorite to visit. The staff is always friendly and very prompt and precise when it comes to the food I order. I have a bun allergy and they are always careful to change gloves and make my order customized just the way I ask for. Because we travel a lot for our business I tend to eat out quite a bit so having this particular store be the way it is, is a relief to me and one less thing for me to worry over.

I am an everyday costumer and usually get the same thing but today I chose to get something different and never fails but the effed up my order so take it back and all they do was add the cheese
