Someone in our party made the reservation. We should have read the reviews and went somewhere else. Everything on the dish I ordered was greasy, very greasy; like inedible greasy. I did not want to send the food back because the person in our party was already feeling bad about the whole experience, and I did not want to add to their stress. The restaurant was empty. For good reason. I took a few bites and said I was full, when actually I was gagging inside. I wasn’t the only one who didn’t touch their food. The menu is overpriced. The wait staff took our order and handed us the check. I added one star for the one staff member that kept our water glasses full and dishes cleared.

Most definitely in the top 10 of worst dining experiences I have ever had. Our waitress ignored us – never cleared plates or checked in on us once. We had to ask for bread. Our food took forever. No apology from the waitress. Exorbitant price for small portions and slightly above average food. She got the check fast enough though, ironically, after ignoring us the whole time. Get food elsewhere, because this was a total waste of time.
Pictured: our appetizer plates the waitress never cleared – that’s right, someone else came to clear them!!!

We went for dinner before a concert. Took at least 20 minutes for our server to come and take our order. We were there for over an hour and only received our 1st course. Can’t understand how with a prix fix and reservation only restaurant they can screw up service this bad. We had to ask our server and a manager several times to find out where our entrees were. With only 15 minutes until our concert, and no entree in sight, we told a manager we were leaving and to cancel our entree. I usually check reviews, but didn’t check this time. My bad I guess.

A friend and I had dinner at the Park View tonight before a concert. The food, service and cost were terrible. We ordered a Caesar salad, burger and chicken. First, all three came out at once. They took our entrees back and left the salad. The salad was OK. The burger was smoked, and the fries were soggy with too much salt. The burger tasted terrible and we had ordered the fries well done with no salt. The chicken was the worst. It was supposed to be with a lemon flavor but it was so sweet it was disgusting. Whatever came with it was also sweet. Based on the past reviews someone in the Levy organization needs to change their entree items and, most definitely, the chef. The burger at the Lawn Bar is 100 times better. Don’t waste your money here.

Had dinner at Park View before a concert. Partner had the scallops which were delicious (coconut curry!). I got the hamburger, which was not. It was drenched in the gorgonzola to the point where the pungent cheese flavor was so much that you couldn’t taste the burger, the bacon, or even the bun. I hate to be picky but it absolutely ruined the burger. I wasn’t able to scrape it off because there was literally more cheese than burger and gorgonzola is a very pungent cheese. Wasn’t worth $2, much less $25.
Charcuterie appetizer was meh. Good fig jam but that’s something I can get at Aldi. Most of the board was a white fish spread and I can only stand white fish once a year. A few meats and some Bleu cheese. Not bad, but a weak offering.
Service was great and everyone was professional and nice. Restaurant got a little buggy because they kept having to go outside to serve the patio customers.
I think it’s a cool place with a great view and good drinks but you’re really gambling with what you order. I regret not ordering the beef cheeks. If you want dinner at Ravinia, check out Park View but DO NOT get the burger.

I was so disappointed with the quality of the food at the Park View Restaurant. Honestly, the food I ordered was not worth the price I paid. The cocktails were good but the food portions, sides and main dishes themselves were so simple/basic that it was hard to believe there was an actual chef preparing the food. I honestly felt as though a teenager cooked the food we had. The dessert we ordered was also awful. The gelati/gelato trio was grainy and we wondered if it was freezer burned or just made poorly. Definitely cannot recommend this restaurant. People are better off bringing their own wine and cheese, renting chairs, eating on the lawn, and then going into the Pavilion for the concert. You would spend a heck of a lot less money.

The restaurant looks nice but I was taken back with the dirty/spotted glasses. My fish was over cooked(dry) and broccoli was charred til it tasted burnt. My sister lamb was dried completely out. She was expecting chop but it was ground like beef. Nothing was good. Very disappointed

Food is way overpriced for what it is. Service is slow and not representative of the cost. Atmosphere is meh – At least there’s the park to look at out the window

Took 2 hours to get our food because there was only 1 chef working. Waitress kept telling us, at about the 1 hour mark, that our food would be out “very soon,” which obviously wasn’t the case. We ended up having to take the food to go so we wouldn’t miss the show we were at Ravinia to see.
Very expensive for nothing special.
Very cold AC on a chilly/rainy day.

Convenient location for dinner at Ravinia with a nice view of the park. That’s about it. Limited menu. Sea bass was mediocre, drinks skimpy (the bill wasn’t). Since we were practically the only ones eating there, you’d think they would have had the time to get our cocktails served in 10 or 20 minutes, or at least heated the mashed potatoes.
