We recently had this authentic Mexican restaurant cater a lunch for 30 people, and the experience was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. They arrived right on time, were organized and professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.

The food was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and a huge hit with everyone. From the quality to the presentation, it exceeded our expectations and felt like a restaurant-quality experience brought directly to us. On top of that, the pricing was very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the level of service and food we received.

If you’re looking for reliable catering with amazing Mexican food and exceptional service, we couldn’t recommend them more highly. We would absolutely use them again!

Authentic Mexican. We had the sopes, burrito, and more. Large portions and fresh. Friendly service…this team cares about your experience and wants you to enjoy your meal. Casual atmosphere with outdoor and indoor seating/bar. We loved it and will be back!

Great chilaqueles, burrito as big as your head! New dessert of guacamole and chocolate is amazing. Terramasue was excellent! Margarita recipe is an effervescent version that was very good. Service was outstanding, they genuinely want you to enjoy the food and experience. Worth the drive!

We’ve given Taqueria El Lunar three tries, hoping it would become a go-to local spot. Each visit was just okay.

The first time was right after they opened — food came out cold, but the service was pleasant, so we chalked it up to new-restaurant growing pains. On our second visit, the food was warmer and the staff seemed more knowledgeable, which felt like an improvement.

Unfortunately, our most recent visit was disappointing. We were the only table there at 6:30 on a Friday, which was surprising. While our waitress was attentive, my burrito came out lukewarm, and the shrimp tacos (three tacos, no sides) were $16 but nothing special. Our bill was $50, but when we checked our bank statement the next day, we were charged $80.

Overall, the staff is friendly, but the food quality doesn’t match the prices. After giving it several chances, we’ve decided not to return.

I had the pork quesadilla and it was the best authentic Mexican food I have had in a very long time. We sat outside on the casual, comfortable patio and had a wonderful dinner. A.B was attentive and knowledgeable about the food, he was a friendly young gentleman who is an asset to the restaurant. Guacamole and chips were A+++ too!

We visited for an early supper. Service was great, complementary chips and salsa were delicious. Unfortunately, four of our ditches came to the table at room temperature. The quantity did not match the price in my opinion. Four street tacos for $16, no sides. We visited the week after the opening and it was apparent staff was training, I’m hopeful that with time food temp will improve.

We have visited 3 times now from out of town . The positive was the place was clean and nice set up. The wait staff were all very nice and great service. Menu a little confusing. Needs pictures and more details especially if you are not familiar with this type of ethnic food.
First time visit. The chips and salsa were delivered to table. Nice portion and absolutely delicious! Food came. Carne Asada was ok. Beans were cold. Burrito bowl with chicken. Not much flavor and chicken was very gristly. Not good. 2nd Visit. Chips came out burnt and super hard. Salsa was delicious. We all ordered burgers. Burgers came with fries. Fries good, burger good, but way too small for bun and certainly too small for the price. Reminded of the commercial “where’s the beef?!” Last visit. Chips brought out and we laughed. There was like 6 chips in the basket for us all. Asked for more and they did bring and were good. Carne Asada was ordered. Came way before everyone else’s meal. Was ok. Not a ton of flavor, but not bad. A Torta was ordered. Was good, not very much for meat on it. Doesn’t come with any sides. Way overpriced for what you get. Another burger ordered. Good burger and fries, but again, the patty was way too small and over priced for what you get. Only sending a review in hopes to help. I have heard others who visited say the same. Overpriced for what you get. Maybe pricing too much like their food truck which typically are higher priced?? The younger service staff are very polite and attentive. Hoping some of the issues can be addressed as the restaurant is new. Hope they can stay around. Will update if we visit again.

Walked in and were the only customers in the place. 3 employees around bar area and not one acknowledged us. 2 dirty tables. Received our chips and salsa and asked for a side of hot salsa well which we received quickly. Salsas were good. Drinks came quickly by our waiter. Ordered Al pastor burrito bowl and carne asada plate. Wife’s Burrito bowl meat was very fatty and grizzly, couldn’t eat about half of the meat. Carne asada came with rice and beans, beans were barely warm, carne asada had no flavor, no seasoning salt or hint of marinade. We were there for 1 hour and 1 other table of 3 sat and dined during that time. The 2 dirty tables that were there when we arrived were still dirty upon our departure.Wait staff spent 80% of the time in back room. Hope they can work on things.
