You will not find a better place for top tier quality kbbq at an amazing price. Our party of 6 ordered the 3-2 AYCE kbbq. The meat orders came out smoothly and the servers were attentive to our needs with great recommendations. You can see from the kitchen window that their meat is sliced fresh. 10/10 side dishes with my favorite being their radish and their own brisket sauce & hot chili sauce. I appreciated that there were no dishes that tasted overly sweet like how a lot of other restaurants make them. The highlight was for sure their dongchimi (cold radish) noodles — it was hands down the most delicious I’ve had in all of OC. My mouth is salivating as I’m writing this. I NEED to go back!!! Hands down, found my new permanent go-to kbbq spot. Not to mention that the interior is beautiful and clean!

WOWOWWWW THEY ARE FINALLY OPEN (11-28-2025). We had such an amazing experience today eating KOREAN BBQ! I sat in a table of 4 and we opted for the 3-2 AYCE menu and I swear we ate more today than we did at Thanksgiving yesterday Everything was SO TASTY. Our server, Dante, was the BEST. He recommended a lot of his favorite dishes and was so accommodating and sweet. We really enjoyed the marinated short ribs, pork neck toro, and of course the brisket. Their rice paper is SLICK and the soups hit the spot. But YOU CANNOT MISS the cold radish noodle soup and the FRIED RICE! Wow the fried rice was crispy and peppery mmmmm sooooo good. Their decor is modern, well lit, and comfy. We all really enjoyed our time here. We spoke to the owner and he was so charming, informative, and genuinely a great guy. I can’t wait to come back here! I’m so happy they opened a location closer to LA!!!

Decided to try Shik Do Rak for the first time! I thought the ambiance and service was great, I loved the interior and their organization for the tables – very clean and stylish, as well as the whole restaurant being of a modern vibe. I rate it 3 stars because I feel other KBBQ places nearby have better and tastier quality meat. Shik Do Rak tasted pretty bland, in my opinion. They do have a nice selection of choices though – just not a big fan of the seasoning or their meat. Marinated short ribs didn’t have a taste and was chewy… Not sure if any other customers had noticed. But nice atmosphere!

If you’re familiar with shikdoraks other locations you can expect the same premium meats, speedy service, and dank 동시미국수 (cold noodle) at this new la Palma expansion. I got the AYCE and most enjoyed the 차돌(brisket), 양념갈비(marinated short ribs), and 됀장찌개(soybean paste soup). Hard to go wrong. Meal hit the spot!!!! Thank you!!!

Shik do rak is a known name in OC for great korean bbq and of course I was excited to try their new additional location.
Their meat quality and taste were the highest and on par or better than their original location location.
There are three all you can eat options and also a la carte. I would recommend 3-2 AYCE as the best bang for your buck, but wouldn’t mind splurging for 3-1 when I can!
All the servers were attentive and friendly.
In addition to their meats, the sides hit the spot. I always love a good soy bean soup!
The ambiance is modern, yet homey. I could see myself coming back with my friends for late night food and drinks or bringing the family for a nice, wholesome dinner.
All in all, a great new addition for La Palma and definitely one of my new go to’s!

I was so excited they finally opened their La Palma location so we stopped by during their soft opening. We got their premium beef combo and everything was so delicious. We especially enjoyed the shirt rib and the marinated galbi with cold noodles (dong chi mi). Shik do rak never disappoints! Will be back again to try their lunch menu!

Food was good. But poor service and attitude from one person. Slamming the plates on our table, rushing the order, forgetting an order, no water refills, no communication. It seemed like we were rushed or not wanted there. Although the other waiters were good.

We are regulars at the Shik Do Rak in Irvine but this one opened yesterday(11/28/25) just minutes from our house. They are still in their soft opening but I can already tell that they are going to be extremely busy. They have amazing sides including fish cake, seaweed salad, cucumbers, sprouts and kimchi. A wide range of meats and tier pricing for their AYCE so you aren’t paying for meats you won’t eat. We always do 3-2 because we enjoy beef tongue. With top of the line grills and vents, the meat cooks evenly across the whole grill, minimizing cold spots and the need to rotate the meat around (this allows the meat to create a crust)! They also don’t turn the grill down to slow down how much you eat like other AYCE places do. Shik Do Rak was already our go to for KBBQ but we are very excited to have one so close to home!

Too clean. Too good. Too fresh. First time here and it was AMAZING. $34.99 per person. Service was great. They gave plenty of refills of sides and took as many meat orders as possible. Will be coming back soon. Also, their waitlist system is top tier!! You can join online before even showing up.
