However, the complimentary food options are really limited. They do have multiple choices for food to purchase.
I can’t not comment on the food menu in prices, but personally I wouldn’t want to purchase food in this club, simply because the complementary food wasn’t good… I appreciate that their food is freshly made and can be sent to the table, but their food is flavorless. The pasta was too soft and the tomato soup was like the canned soup. If they can’t make good food for the complementary ones as the samples, then I don’t think I want to pay for the food I definitely won’t eat. And here is a sincerely recommendation, they can probably shrink the portion of the complimentary food. So it may increase some more budget for food quality. I really feel sorry for wasting.
The premade sandwiches were fresh and always well stocked.
The salad bar was crisp and nicely presented.
Drinks were excellent, with a great top-shelf selection.
Thank you, Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse, for the outstanding service.
However, my experience took a negative turn. The only complimentary beer option—Pabst Blue Ribbon—which is a notably low-tier offering. More importantly, while seated with a friend and waiting for our international flight, we were informed that Priority Pass members were no longer permitted to remain in the lounge. I politely asked if we could at least finish our meals and drinks, and initially was told yes. About ten minutes later, we were approached again and instructed to leave immediately, without being allowed to finish what we had already been served.
The staff member who asked us to leave was unnecessarily hostile and dismissive, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. We ultimately had to leave the lounge and purchase additional food elsewhere to finish our meal.
Overall, the experience was disappointing. The restrictions placed on Priority Pass members were poorly communicated and handled unprofessionally. Based on this visit, I cannot recommend this lounge and hope the service standards are reevaluated.
I’ve been to many airport lounges, and this one was by far the most disappointing—especially considering the size of the airport.
The complimentary drink selection was abysmal: only Pabst Blue Ribbon for beer, and two unimpressive wines (a red and a chardonnay). That’s it.
Food? The gratis food options were equally dismal. While there is a menu you can order from, the lounge only had eight two-seater tables suitable for eating. That means if you’re lucky enough to get food, you’ll also need luck finding a place to sit and enjoy it without balancing it on your lap.
The lounge itself felt tired and worn, with outdated furniture and a lack of comfort. It didn’t offer the relaxing, premium experience you’d expect from an airport lounge.
If you have access to other lounges, skip this one. Not worth your time.
