Never have I had such delicious, hot & fresh food served with such down home charm in all my life. Mr. Chelsea Malone’s establishment in Holly Springs, MS is ALL that & soooo much more. Everything & I mean everything we tried was equally scrumptious! There’s no such thing as a favorite dish here because it’s all wonderful, and his prices are beyond reasonable!! Do yourself a favor & get on over to The Chicken Coop, you will not regret it. I can’t get back soon enough!!

Ordered a grilled chicken salad, I got very little lettuce, only the hard pieces that you see in the top. The salads here are not cheap, and I’m not paying for the hard ends that I cannot eat. Very disappointed and we won’t be ordering lunch here again.

I went to the Chicken Coop for dinner with my daughter. We were passing through Holly Springs around early dinner time and decided on the Chicken Coop. I must say, we were both happy we made that decision. When we walked in, we were greeted by the owner with a smile. We looked at the large digital menu to try to make our decision. Chicken wings, party wings, burgers, fries, hotdogs…. the selection was large, but not overwhelming like some menus can be. I ordered the Chicken Coop special, which consists of 5 whole wings, fries and a drink. My daughter got a small cheeseburger and fries. We waited for our food, which took a minute, bc it’s cooked to order.
The wings are probably the best hot wings I have ever had, seriously. I got the extra hot and the flavor was on point. My daughters burger was also fantastic. The burger was fresh and obviously made to order, not frozen. We finished it off with 2 fried pies, also delicious.
If you love wings, try this place. It is worth traveling if need be.

Whenever I visit Holly Springs, Chicken Coop is a must-stop. My cashier, Mecy, was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered some excellent recommendations. My burger was perfect, and the wings were amazing. I also recommend trying the fried green tomatoes!

Cashier was very quiet, I could barely hear her. No soap in the bathroom. 20-25 minute wait, but it was worth it. The chicken was amazing! (I see why everyone was ordering carryout) Really like the X-Hot sauce. 4 stars.
