I love Japanese food and I’ve been to many different restaurants, but hands down, Yokohama Japanese Restaurant has the most delectable food, the most courteous service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Everything about it feels like an authentic, traditional dining experience. This one definitely tops the list of all my favorite places to eat.

The people who work there are all Japanese! It is my favorite Japanese restaurant. Sushi is excellent as is the other items I have ordered. You don’t find too many Japanese restaurants where the sushi chefs, cooks, servers are actually Japanese.

Had the bento for lunch today, and it was pretty good. I was surprised I enjoyed the Westmont Roll as I usually eat Nigiri or Sashimi/Chirashi. The portion for the price at lunch is the best deal. I got miso soup, chicken teriyaki, 2pc Westmont Roll, 3 pieces of veggies and a large shrimp/prawn, and salad with ginger dressing. All for around $11.
Expect slower service during peak times, as pretty much everything is made to order.

Nice little place, very kind service. Took a little longer for food to arrive on a Sunday night, cheaper ingredients on the chicken teriyaki but sushi was great and no sriracha sauce which important for me.

Worst service ever. Stood there for 15 minutes without any acknowledgment that we were waiting for a table. Watched 3 tables get up and leave because they had been waiting over 15 minutes for someone to take their drink it order.
