Great place for a proper white cloth service with great food.

Our family of 4 had the privilege being served by the friendly front reception and our super server Ai san.

She is friendly, knowledgeable and elevated our dining experience with her professionalism.

The must trys are crab cake and jumbo bacon.

Would love to give 5 stars for our dry aged steak. I was told it was aged for almost 6 weeks but find it hard and chewy even at med rare. I’m still scratching my head, given the fact a dry aged steak is supposed to be tender.

Luckily rest of our meals, Benjamin salad, lobster tail , sides and creme brûlée were delicious.

Overall, great dining experience! Thank you Ai San and BSH for having us!

We just had an amazing dining experience. I was initially considering canceling my reservation after reading some negative reviews, but I decided to go ahead to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our original reservation was for 7:30 PM, but we arrived early around 6 PM, and the service was prompt and welcoming. We were seated in a quiet corner, and the interior and atmosphere were exactly what I had hoped for.

We were fortunate to have the manager, Kubota-san, serve us throughout the meal. He was incredibly polite, attentive, and spoke good English, so ordering was a breeze.

The food was absolutely delicious! My husband and I are big eaters, but the steak for two, along with two sides and an appetizer, ended up being too much for us. I would recommend skipping the sides or opting for a vegetable side to cleanse your palate.

Overall, the service was top-notch. I loved the entire experience, and a special thanks to Kubota-san for making it so memorable!

Been on a steak craving this month and have gone to a few of the “regular” steakhouses famous in the US. But a friend suggested I try Benjamin’s! I was extremely impressed! The calamari is great, and what I would expect from good US/Italian places and hit another craving I didn’t know I had. Lobster Mac&cheese, yum! French Onion soup was also flavored right, meaning not too salty, but enough to go well with the cheese on top. But the star of the show is the steak. Very surprised at how soft and how TASTY it was. More so than the other places I went to. The flavor from the aging was excellent and more pronounced. All my opinions only but I will be giving Benjamin’s a more thorough visit when I crave steaks!! Will have to try the rib eye next time 😉

We went to this restaurant to taste the real meat with skilled hands and as a result of the advertisement we saw from Australia on YouTube.

Unfortunately, the meat served to us was charred meat and tasted bitter due to the stupidity of the cook

The meat had no taste at all.

Although it was charred, it was tough and needed a very sharp knife to cut it.

It was like a piece of plastic that was difficult to chew.

No sauce was served with it.

The price was high in the sky
for what was served to us.

We wished to eat Gyudon for 1,500 yen,
which was much better than what
we paid 31,000 yen and ate a piece of charcoal.

The money you pay here is only for the prestige of the restaurant and not for the quality of the food.

Beware of wasting your money in this restaurant.

Because it is really a garbage restaurant.

I e now been a few times to Benjamin’s Steak House in Roppongi. This was my first lunch. It was excellent and the service flawless. Thank you to the staff and special thanks to Ai san for her wonderful table service.
I highly recommend Benjamin’s for a fine dining experience – especially dinner with wine but lunch is great value.

Came here for a celebratory lunch. We ordered the lunch special and the T-bone for two. We also added the fried calamari. The meal started with a chopped salad (a bit disappointing since it was just tomatoes with a bit of thick bacon) and the house salad which was not bad but a bit too much dressing. Salad was followed by soup: lobster bisque (highly recommend) and the house special soup (was just ok). The calamari came and it was cooked nicely, soft and crispy. The calamari however was not breaded which was a pleasant surprise. Then the main event, aged T-bone served on a sizzling plate and accompanied with mash and creamless creamed spinach. The steak was cooked perfectly and very delicious. Overall the meal was great. What would have given them 5 stars would have been if the family with kids were placed in the private room as the constant fussing of the baby was a tad annoying. Their website does state to reserve the private room if you have small children.

Came for lunch and ordered the pre fixe burger and lobster bisque 3300 yen plus tax.
The lobster bisque was quite salty and the burger was shocking tough. I took a picture which shows what the beef looks like cut and the rest I leave to your imagination.
For the price I would suggest visiting other places if you want a decent Burger.
The table beside us had a fillet steak and that looked good. Service and atmosphere are good as well.

Extremely nice interior but service and food did not meet the expectations.
1. Waiter couldn’t clearly explain the menu, not knowing the difference 3-4 salads.
2. Caesar salad was a disappointment, few cut leaves with some parmesan and a bit of sauce.
3. Steak was served cold and there is no option to choose sides.

For this price there are many better options to go with in Tokyo. I was looking forward to this one but came out disappointed.

This will be a robust meal. The beef is clearly selected and prepared with a great deal of care. I think the service was excellent, we had a very well spoken Naoya (not sure if I spelled his name correctly) share his preferences and advised us on what thought would be a good meal for us.
The dining area is great, there is a fun “spot the famous person” game to played coming down the stairs.
But I can’t give it full marks overall cuz it is pricy.
