Stopped by at 2:30 after lunch nearby, it was busy and was an hour+ wait for a table BUT we just got some baked goods and espresso to go and that was very quick, they have a great selection of everything you can imagine as well as good coffee and beverage choices. It was bustling and fun to watch. A great stop for some desserts or breads. Almond croissant was really good, as were the flourless chocolate almond cookies, coconut macaroons and rugelach. Highly recommend! Prices very fair for high quality.

Zach the Baker in Wynwood is one of those places that actually lives up to the hype. The food was amazing, but what really stood out was the people who work there. They weren’t just friendly and nice, they were welcoming, sweet, and so good at giving recommendations. Wesley and Gabby were the ones who helped me this time, and they were truly outstanding. It really feels like a neighborhood-oriented bakery, the kind of place you want to become a regular at. Definitely coming back. Plus, they love animals, which makes it even better.

The hype is well-earned for Zak The Baker. Food is baked fresh in front of your eyes; menu has variety; staff is friendly & helpful; food has high-quality ingredients and prepared artfully; open kitchen design. Crowds form fast here (book reservations well in advance if you want a table). Seating for approx 50 people indoors & 20 people outdoors. The line often spills out onto the sidewalk. Kosher certified. Located smack in the center of the Wynwood Art District (approximately 20 minutes drive from the beach). After eating here, cross the street diagnolly to visit a super-cool car & guitar museum-like store.

What a beautiful find in Wynwood. I’ve dined at many kosher establishments and also many farm to tables. Never found a combination of the two but at Zaks they perfected the concept of doing both! The food tasted delicious and fresh. Incredible fish sandwich on a fantastic roll! Our server was attentive and friendly too. You could tell this is a quality bakery that cares about it’s customers. We even bought a tote and babka as gift to bring home from our trip to Miami. Much love to Zak and the staff for their creative delicious eatery!!!!

Amazing! The food was so beyond fresh, beautifully prepared and plated to perfection. The baked bread and bagels ,cakes, cookies, and cinnamon buns were beyond! Cheese sandwich with tomato soup was out of this world along with the Nova platter. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We love the Zak’s pastries, Challah bread.
We came at 4:45 pm and they were closing at the same time so we bought hot chocolate, Matcha latte and we had a lot of free pastries.
They were so nice and kind.
Delicious and Kosher! 100% recommended.

I’m stupid glad we slid thru this spot for breakfast. We were there on a Friday morning, so it wasn’t crazy crowded, but I can easily see how it would be. The layout is nice and open, where you can see the bakers baking from your table. There’s also a nice coffee/takeout counter up front. Our server was very attentive, and as I always appreciate, she made us feel at home. The menu isn’t crazy extensive, and that made ordering a lot easier. I went right for the French toast. Just a couple thick slices of fresh-baked bread brought together into one big ol’ slab of decadence. I’m gonna describe it just like it’s written on the menu, “Brioche dipped in Vanilla Bean Custard, layered with Florida Pecan Butter, Crème Anglaise, Blueberry Coulis, Whipped Cream & ZTB Farmhouse Lemon Thyme”, yeah, all that and then some. It was so deliciously rich I couldn’t finish it all in one sitting. We also had the Egg Platter with two eggs, crazy crispy delicious smashed potatoes, labneh, pickled onions on top of fresh avocado, marinated olives, and spelt sourdough. That was fresh and impressive as well. I had the hibiscus lemonade, and it was worth the words I’ve heard describing it, “Awesome and alone worth the visit”. All in all, I was very pleased with this spot and would recommend visiting. If I lived around there, it would easily become one of my morning treats.

Oh yes, the restrooms were very clean and well-equipped.There are two individual rooms (is that the right word?).

Incredible bakery in the Wynnwood area of Miami. I have been looking forward to going to this bakery for a while based upon it’s reviews, and the food is amazing. Large on-site bakery produces some unique items and fresh bread. I had an almond croissant that was very good. Highly recommended.

On street, metered parking BUT they will ticket within seconds so do pay! We saw the writing lots of tickets.

On the sunny side – Absolutely loved our visit to Zack the Baker! The Nutella croissant was one of the most delicious I’ve ever had—perfectly flaky with just the right amount of sweetness. We also enjoyed their French toast on our second visit but it is enough for two or three people to share.

The staff was friendly and helpful, even finding us a seat inside when it was busy. Coffee refills are available on request, which was a nice bonus.

We also appreciated the clean bathroom and reasonable prices, especially for a spot in a larger city.

Note: They’re closed on Saturdays, so plan accordingly. If you stop by on a Friday, don’t miss their freshly baked Challah loaves—they looked incredible! We purchased the cranberry country loaf but regret not buying the Challah. Will definitely buy it next time.,

Highly recommend for a warm, satisfying start to your day.
