The Subway down the street from me used to be one of my favorite places to go. The food was always really good, and I loved stopping by. But lately, things just haven’t been the same. They have a drive-thru, and sometimes you can sit there for 20 minutes with no response at all. And when I do get my food, I’ve had items missing from my order more than once. When they’re actually on top of things, the food is great — it’s just not as consistent as it used to be.

Nothing but issues almost every time I have gone to the jay subway. I do order online Every time I order my sandwich I always ask for extra crispy bacon. 98% of the time they can get it right. I have NEVER complained before today.

My sister had an issue with HER food LAST night. They gave her a hard time about it. She was just asking if there was anything they could do about THEIR mess up. They were rude about it.

Tonight I asked for my normal order just on a different bread. My bacon is so rubbery I don’t want to chew on it forever. I also asked for banana peppers on my sandwich. I did not get them.
So I called the store to see if they would do anything for me. I’d bring back the sandwich for a new one made the right way.

We ordered 30 minutes before close. Got back home to realize my order was messed up. So I called them. Because it was right before closing they gave me a hard time about making me a new sandwich because it would cause them to stay late. They also know that my sister was the person who called an complained about her order being messed up last night. So they rudely said “I’m starting to notice a trend here” They had absolutely no interest in fixing my sandwich.

I paid over $10 for this meal. I WANT TO ENJOY IT!!!! But instead I just want to throw it away. It’s not like I can pull the bacon off and crisp it up myself. It’s all melted in there. My dinner was ruined tonight because people don’t want to read an order and make it the right way the FIRST time. You ask for them to fix their mistake and they reject you and act rude because it’s at closing. I will not waste my money or my time here again.

I rarely write reviews, but I’ve never been to a subway which has been so consistently wrong with every order I place. Today, I drove 50 mins just TRYING to get my actual, correctly made, ~$30 subway order. My original two subs? The sauces on them were switched, and the sandwiches were completely soaked.

Oh, and don’t think about calling and explaining that you’re already home, and asking if you can simply get them replaced tomorrow, they’ll tell you that you have to bring them back now if you want anything to be done about them.

The workers inside? Very nice to speak to. Their policy on fixing their sandwiches? Absolutely atrocious.

Literally, go to Dunkin or McDonald’s, at least if they mess up they’ll write your name down for when you come in the next day. Or literally go to any other subway, just not this one.

Oh, by the way, after driving those 50 minutes to get our food fixed, it turns out replacement sub is STILL wrong Didn’t find out until I just got home.

Was gonna leave a nasty review about how the sandwich maker was on his personal phone the entire time while doing my sandwich he had it held in the collar of his shirt with it on speaker talking in another language talk about unprofessional mixed with crappy customer service probably why I only got 5 pickles on a 3 ingredient sandwich when I asked for extra but hey based on the reviews this place has been going down hill for a while should of taken it as a sign when i had my last bad experience at this same location

I waited for five minutes at the store in Jay, Maine, with no employee in the store. I walked around the store where the employee ANDREW was yelling on the phone to somebody very aggressively. He looked at me and said what do you want? I told him I was picking up a DoorDash, she told me it didn’t exist and kept yelling at me when I told him he was being unprofessional and rude He never gave me the DoorDash.

Ordered 3 sandwiches on mobile. Got to the store and was informed that our sandwiches were not ready and that they had lost the receipt. Waited over 20 minutes for out sandwiches too be ready. Once we got home. We opened the sandwiches to discover that they were not made correctly both sandwiches had lettuce and we only ordered one with lettuce also both had pickles and we had only ordered one with pickles. When we called subway they only offered to remake one sandwich. The girl was EXTREMELY RUDE. She told that when you order on mobile that you have to take the sandwich the way they make it. Also that we should just pick it off! That is absolutely not true. The manager was working and didn’t come to the phone to help with the issue. We will not be going to this location EVER AGAIN

Long wait for sandwiches in drive through. Prices in store apparently more expensive than through the app. Employee didn’t know how to ring order in or how to print receipt. They literally fled when I tried to ask any questions. Not worth the wait.

Out of tuna, meatballs so decided to get a cold sub and they are out of provolone cheese and pickles. How does a sub shop run out of pickels? I feel like they can be ordered in bulk. Service was good and place was clean but come on, management needs to learn how to order.

Did not catch the name of the worker but she was by herself around 330pm today 5/5/24
She is a hard worker and was taking care of me and my family and friends. All 8 of us and was also taking online and pickup orders the entire time. She did EXCELLENT at the service and was fast and made all the food correctly and perfect!!!
