It’s was okay. Could’ve given a little little extra portion. Paid 14 bucks, tastes was there, portion wasn’t.

We ordered the bandeja paisa and the mariscos à la plancha (shrimp), the shrimp was 17 dollars for 5 shrimps, two tortillas, and small portions of rice and beans. The shrimp had its shell still on so I had to hand peel every piece and the shell was the only thing seasoned so it tasted bland. The bandeja had a hard small piece of meat and portions were terrible. Mid flavor and small portions. Also 18 dollars for sauce is kinda insane. Good service, decent atmosphere.

First time: party of 4: 3 adults 1 child: Sit yourself down. They only had one waitress she wasn’t very pleasant. It is Christmas Eve so maybe she wasn’t very happy. ♀️It started when I ordered cafe de olla, which they don’t carry, but it’s advertised on every tv and menu. ( ok not a problem) I opt for the house coffee. It tasted like it had been sitting out for while. (barely warm) I had the pork guisado and 2 pupusas chicharrón y queso and queso y lorroco. The pupusas are the only reason for the 4 stars. The guisado was very blend. The other dishes were ok. The corn tortillas were amazing. I’ll definitely return for the pupusas. I also wouldn’t dine in again.

We came across this place on accident as its hidden behind El Palenque and next to Hartz. I’m glad we decided on this place. The staff was very friendly and able to make recommendations to first timers. Did I mention breakfast all day!!! We had the Desayuno Love, Monterrey Street Tacks, and an order of pupusas. The food is absolutely made with love and very tasty. We will be definitely returning. I wish they would stay open later than 9p.

This hidden gem is located behind the Exxon station on the corner of Spring Cypress and 45. The restaurant is called La Patrona. They have a variety of delectable dishes to offer. This evening I was crossed between a bowl of seafood soup and a plate of carne guisada. I chose the carne guisada. The portions were more than enough and the food was delicious. There are other surprises that I’ll let you experience. For the most part you will leave there with a full belly and satisfied. I really enjoyed my meal and the serrano sauce. Good luck to this place! I can honestly say we will be back soon
