Came here for the first time after it was highly recommended. We came with a party of 9. They seated us within 15mins, luckily cause when I checked in, it was packed.

Once seated, it took over 25mins for them to take our drink order. When they did it took even longer to get our drinks.

Then even longer for them to come take our order.
We seen two families come in like 50mins after us and get their drinks within 5mins. Got their order taken within 10… even before us and get their food before us. We had to ask several times if we can have someone get our orders.

They never came to ask if we needed refills until we were done with our food.

I’d like to think it wasn’t a racial issue, but mannnn our table was just highly neglected and not served as well as others.

The Food though was amazing and delicious. Im still craving more of that banana nut bread. ❤️

Every time I walk into the Red Hen Cafe, it feels like a throwback to how great service used to be—genuine, welcoming, and on point. The staff is consistently amazing and makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. Their breakfast is so good it’s honestly worth an hour drive just for that meal. My favorite spot, and I’ll keep coming back.

Great food, great service, cute building, nice local decor. A little off the beaten path between Vegas and Socal but definitely worth the stop. Plus it’s located on the famous Route 66!

Every time I have ever gone here I have been treated with kindness and respect by all staff members. Service is always top-tier and waitresses are always very quick to help customers. The atmosphere is very homey and welcoming right from walking in the door. I have NEVER had a bad meal here in the 10 years that I have lived in this community. Food is EXCEPTIONAL and always made to impress the customer. Since being turned into the Red Hen, alcoholic drinks are now offered and they are definitely worth it! I love everything about the Red Hen and would take ANYONE here for an amazing breakfast or lunch❤️

My tuna sandwich was bland not enough mayo, personally I prefer miracle whip style mayo. Had I not got the sandwich with rye bread and red onions ,I think the sandwich would have gone back to the kitchen. My daughters breakfast burrito “looked” great but the eggs inside were scrambled and over fried and over done, grossed her out. I asked her if she wanted to exchange for something else and she said no,so I honored her feelings as I like to teach our kids to fend for themselves and not do things for them. My wife’s veggie skillet scramble was very good according to her. As I looked around the restaurant the food looked pretty good especially the breakfast. Next time I will try just the breakfast,i would recommend if you order scrambled eggs ,ask that they not be over fried and overdone. It used to be mollies country cafe which I was banking on going today and was surprised to see it gone and replaced by the red hen. I will go back and give it a second try.the waitresses and cashiers were great and friendly. Out of 3 orders, 1 was good (my wife’s veggie skillet scrambler), 2 were not good.

I came to the Red Hen Cafe to take on their BIG MOMMA CHALLENGE. The BIG MOMMA is a huge 3 pound pancake. The challenge is if you can eat it all in less than 20 minutes, it’s absolutely free. If you can’t finish it, it’s $15.99 plus tax. I was able to finish about 20% of it before giving up. Definitely not as easy as one would think, that’s for sure however I was told that last week someone set a record eating it in less than 12 minutes. My friend ordered the Garden omelette, hash browns (extra crispy) and french toast. All their food looked really good especially the chicken fried steak that we had seen someone order next to us. This place has a very warm, welcoming atmosphere and our waitress Jenny was absolutely great. Definitely have plans to go back.

Great little hole in the wall diner. The service was great, very pleasant staff. Food is delicious. Lots of food per plate, which is always a good thing. Highly recommend it.
