Very nice restaurant outside of Great Wolf Lodge! We decided to eat here and was very surprised with the quality of food! It was a great meal. We got a flatbread that was crispy and delicious! We also got the alligator sausage and shrimp gumbo. It was good! I was nervous at first, but the alligator sausage tasted like…normal sausage. It had a great flavor. The strip steak was well seasoned and cooked. It came with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Our son got the chicken tenders. He said they were cooked good and tasted yummy. We also got the chocolate fudge cake with raspberry sauce. It was decadent, but worth it!

Came here while staying at the lodge. Kid friendly, cool environment. Love a place that uses antlers in its decorating. When I sat down the guy next to me had the special, Osso Bucco. It looked and smelled delicious. I ordered but but alas he got the last one.
Would recommend this place as great alternative to the food options at the lodge.

I’ve been to off the road places, but this one takes the cake!! The food is beyond amazing. The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection. They did a perfect medium and it was melt in your mouth. The mashed potatoes were perfectly seasoned and the green beans still had the perfect crispness to them. The swordfish was excellent. The fingerling potatoes were soft and tender and yet still crispy with rosemary seasoning. And their chocolate mousse was to die for! We will be eating here again.

Stopped here for a quick burger but the server recommended the pan seared pollock.
I’m glad I got it, it was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Pollock is pretty mild compared to other fish, and you’ll know if it’s overcooked because it’ll start to disintegrate. This was done just right.
The rice and the corn were a perfect combo with this fish, very light but filling meal.
The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

What a gem located next to the Great Wolf Lodge. Instead of overpaying for convenience when you stay at the Great Wolf Lodge, swing by this place which is a 30 second drive away. The food is excellent, especially if you like interesting types of meats but it also has your tired and ture staples. Our server Katherine was wonderful and patient with our four young children. Highly recommend for anyone in the area that would like a relaxed, delicious and family friendly experience.

While waiting for check in at Great Wolf Lodge we decided to grab lunch at this super convenient location nearby. The atmosphere definitely matched the namesake as the inside resembles a hunting lodge.
The service by our server was polite, quick, and efficient.
I ordered the elk burger with fries and a local brew which was absolutely phenomenal, while my wife ordered a Cesar salad, and the kids enjoyed their chicken tenders and fries.
Overall a great place to snag a quick lunch and a great place to save money and get a better quality of food than what GWL had to offer.

We sat in the bar. We had great service by the owner. Very friendly. Her food recommendations were spot on delicious. My husband ordered the gumbo off the appetizer. It was a full meal. I ordered the quiche…homemade deliciousness.

What an amazing local gem… hidden in a beautiful out of the way place. When you walk in the atmosphere is amazing with stuffed animals everywhere… my kids love it! The food is great but the price was soooo affordable. $32 for a 12-14oz new york strip with two sides. Local owner is a great guy that cares. Personally came out and checked on us a couple of times. You will love it… we did!!!

I am at my second visit. These prices are amazing. I had a 20 once beer for less than $6. The first night I has the soup of the day which was a clam chowder. I live in a seafood capitol and it matches or exceeds what I get there. The frog legs are perfectly cooked and the slaw with an Asian sauce was great. I could eat a plateful of that alone.The elk burger is unbelievable. I hope to visit a few more times before I leave. The costs are much less than what I expected to pay. Oh yeah,,,, the fries and onion rings are the best!!!.

The best food I have ever had! Flavors were amazing, robust and unique. We had some of the wild game, elk burger was rich and delicious unlike anything we’ve had before, the frog legs were so tender and tasty! I had the new York strip…. Jaw dropping!!! This was the best steak I have ever eaten! Cooked perfectly, nice and pink nice creamy buttery flavor! The fat just melted in my mouth. Mashed potatoes were the absolute perfect texture! The ambiance was so fun and high end. We will absolutely be coming back in the future. Also, staff were kind and took care of us well!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✨
