We ordered take out. I had a prime rib poboy and husband had a ribeye. When I tell you they were on point, oowwweeeee CHEFS KISS!!!! Absolutely amazing!!!! I will say when it comes to the steak- if your doing carry out; get it slightly under cook from your preference because it will continue to cook on the way home. But- do yourself a favor and order you a prime rib poboy. You will not be disappointed!!!

Excellent experience! Chef John came over and introduced himself. Charming individual! He made us a special dish which was delicious. Our meals were excellent as well.
The main dining room is rather loud so we requested to sit in area that was quiet so we could talk. We sat at a large table near the bar. Good location

Has a lovely bar area that no one frequents. Can watch sports on TV. Find out what their happy hour drink specials are and check out the vibe. Make sure you know the drink prices before ordering. It’s not that obvious. Otherwise would give 5 stars. Got sticker shock on ordering a top shelf vodka martini . It was $23. I’ve travelled all over the world and never paid that much for a Chopin martini.
The chicken cracklings are so yummy. Food is good!
Note to Manager: get a full time bartender on busy nights. I brought a friend and they left in disgust because our server had to deliver food before they could make our drinks so we never got them. Not the servers fault.

Just a trucker passing through.. and I’m SOOOO glad I stopped!! Everything from the second I walked in was perfect.. my waitress was great and attentive, which is always a huge plus for me. The food.. OMG.. I just kept ordering stuff lol. This place is truly top tier and I hope to pass through again! Thank God I have a fridge in my truck lol

I was seriously disappointed in the “roasted artichoke” side. It was obviously canned artichoke. I expected freshly roasted artichoke when I ordered that as a side to my steak dinner. That being said, I did enjoy the steak. It was cooked beautifully. I also enjoyed the grilled zucchini and squash, which was my other side. I sampled the stuffed potato and gnocchi, that my dinner mates had ordered and they seemed fresh and made in house. Our server was very attentive and friendly, she absolutely gets 5 stars. The atmosphere was good. They had live music but the other patrons didn’t seem to engage with the entertainment so it felt a little awkward. Overall, a 4 out of 5. I would prefer to pay $3-5 more for fresh artichoke hearts but I don’t know their food cost so I just won’t order that again. I’ll attach a photo of what I expected as a side and what I recieved.

Loved the food here, had the seafood platter..oysters dont sit well with me so asked for extra shrimp, was told that the kitchen denied my request so I asked if it would still be full price, was also told yes, luckily the owner was present walk8n around and when he stopped to ask me if everything was OK, i told him of my situation. Food was outstanding. No problems until we gave our server the card to pay… she never brought it back. It took 15 min to come back and asks if we need something else… and we reminded her she still had our debit card. Then proceeds to say “I will be right back”… so she left our card laying somewhere? What do u mean you will be right back? U should have it on you.. u took it 15 min ago. I didn’t appreciate her leaving my card unattended somewhere in the back. Who knows who saw it or could have had it. Food was excellent but service was just not there. Would eat here again if we had a different server

Service was lack to say the least. Daughter accidentally spilt her drink, waitress stood there with a confused look on her face as I cleaned it up, didn’t offer napkins or anything , never brought daughter a refill, just left the empty cup on our table. Apparently it was now on me to refill our drinks. Food was absolutely lackluster. I could have licked the pavement and had more flavor than our dishes. Crawfish was absolutely awful. One of the employees was more worried about bragging to his friends that “he sold 2,000 pounds of crawfish in 2 days” my daughter had 5 pounds of crawfish and maybe 2 pounds were edible. Food AMAZING can’t wait to come back when we are coming through. The singer was also amazing.
Husband and son loved the Crawfish Queso (I was not a fan) corn bisque was amazing, shrimp and fish was great pasta was out standing and the cheese cake (banana foster)was great. Only suggestion is cook the bananas and if it’s to go put sauce on the side. But the just gave us an excuse to eat it quickly. Oh almost forgot the boudin rolls AMAZING with the pepper jelly.
