A dive bar with pool tables in the back but I wanted someplace I could sit with a beer while my van was plugged into the “free” outlets provided by the municipality. When I walked in, a lively bunch of folks having a good time. I decided this was a spot I could stay.
Sitting down with my beer in the back, that’s when the music started. Super loud and from a speaker that was just a little bit blown. Enough to be grating. I finished the beer and headed elsewhere.
If you’re looking for a good loud time, this might be the spot for you.

Went here with some girlfriends the past week and the other guests and environment was nice and chill. Love the patio lights and the pool tables, plus they have a touchtunes machine for the music which was nice to request songs. The bartender (braden) knocks the starts down though. He was so visibly drunk and slurring his words, we didn’t understand what he was talking about half the time because he would veer off topic when we just wanted to order drinks. He also made my drink wrong multiple times so the whole overall experience with his service was just annoying. Would love to be back but hopefully theres a different bartender next time!

There is a hookah lounge next door where people often purchase drinks and leave. The bartender appears to dislike individuals of a certain ethnicity who frequent the area.
Last night, I waited nearly 20 minutes for service while she continuously served other customers who arrived after me. When I finally asked why I was being ignored and whether she intended to serve me, she responded by saying, “The other ethnicity doesn’t tip me.”
Her statement was both shocking and unacceptable. What does that have to do with me?

Best standard bar experience imaginable.
The atmosphere is perfect. The music is perfect. The art on the walls, the bar games they have, even the chairs are fantastic.
It’s not too big but not too small. The servers are the BEST.
Being at Al’s Bar feels like being on the set of a TV show. It’s incredible.
Highly highly highly recommend checking them out, even if you don’t drink, just to see what a good bar is supposed to be like. They set the bar for bars. And they got good snacks too.

There’s a heavy ‘trump’ presence here. I ordered a Knob Creek, watched it get poured, and then realized it was Bulleit in my glass (I happened to be there with a well known, highly respected flavor chemist who literally created the Bulleit flavor profile). I suspect they are filling top-shelf liquor bottles with lower cost booze. This place has all the charm of a mid-80s raised ranch basement playroom. I love a good dive bar, but this is just trash. Friendly place though, nice bartenders. People bring dogs in too. I just can’t abide a place that I think is dishonest.
