Really cool Irish pub with tons of character and charm ☘️ — cozy lighting, wooden decor, and that classic pub vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The Guinness is poured perfectly — rich, creamy, just like it should be in an authentic Irish place.
Service could’ve been a bit more attentive (kinda average, to be honest), but everything else totally made up for it. The tacos were a little on the spicy side ️, but the fish & chips were spot on — crispy, golden, and delicious.
Overall, it’s a great spot to grab a pint, enjoy some hearty food, and soak in that warm Irish atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

Came here for a bite to eat. The fish and chips was very very good. Crispy and not oily at all. The tartar sauce was really good as well. I paired it with a Seapine Citra Ale

We stopped in here after the Pike market and had a few before walking and exploring more! The bartender was super nice and friendly! The bar was warm and cozy. Regulars seemed abundant and was a nice taste of ‘True Seattle’s as opposed to overpriced tourist trap locations. Would love to be back for their live music!

This place was perfect. I was catching up with a dear friend over drinks and pub food, and this was the spot. We were there early and were able to scope out a little spot in their beautiful front room. Apparently they have live music, and it feels like a great spot for it. Crowd is friendly, and I particularly want to highlight the bar staff for being sweet, kind, warm, and welcoming! Food is your usual pub fare and took a little while to come out, but again, we went pretty early in the night so I wouldn’t be surprised if their kitchen staff was lower. If you’re looking for a cozy pub feel, this is the place!

This is a pub’s pub. The food is mid, but that’s not entirely shocking. What makes this place special is the atmosphere. It’s has several rooms—one very cozy, one with a stage, one with a pool table. Throughout, you get a feeling that this is an unpretentious spot to hang out and get a beer.
If you too have walked off the ferry several times and gazed down upon its owl sign, you ought to stop in next time.

The fish and chips and fish tacos were incredibly fresh! Customer service was top-notch, and I loved the cozy old Irish pub atmosphere. A perfect spot for great food and a welcoming vibe.

Guy at the front door said seat ourselves. So we did, but it took at least 10 minutes for waitress to come to table. Nice atmosphere. Food was good, reasonable amount for the price. Not many options on the menu.

This place used to be our go to place years ago. However, we don’t make in much these days. Nonetheless, five of us stopped in for dinner around 5:30pm. The place was dead and still the service was absolutely awful. 20 minutes until they took our order for drinks, 20 more minutes until drinks came. 2 hours later we tabbed out. We would have orderred more food and drinks but could not handle waiting almost an hour between orders. I used love this place, but we will not be returning. So sad to see this place fail like this. Icing on the cake, they added 20% tip and would not split the bill. There are many other places that will treat you much better.

Owl N’thistle bar is a must-visit! The friendly, communicative bartender makes everyone feel welcome. The spacious venue, near the Underground Tour, serves a huge selection of drinks no way they will all fit in here.i try delicious fish and chips hot right from the kitchen and so much more yummy dishes. Highly recommended!
