Great biscuits and gravy. Nice amount of gravy too. Scrambled eggs were a little overcooked but still good. Next time will ask for a little less cooked.

Big breakfast was excellent with very good thicker bacon.

Very nice setting, reminds you of an old roadside Cafe. Very friendly staff and wasn’t blaring music like most place.

Would definitely recommend.

First visit. Typical breakfast items, but it tastes fresh and is flavorful. We ordered the asparagus and cheese omelet, short stack and country fried steak and hot chocolate. Chocolate was ok. The steak tasted better than anything we’ve had, Cracker Barrel included. Omelet was cooked perfectly, no pic, ate it too fast. Pancakes were fluffy. Great, friendly service even though they were busy. Clean restrooms. A nice place to have breakfast or lunch. The only gripe I have is that since it is next to the flea market it took us about 10 minutes to find a parking spot. People parked and were walking to the flea market.

This place is very cute and clean. We travel a lot and it reminds me of those small southern restaurants. The waitress, Nicole, was nice. The food tasted great. I took my son and my mom with no problems at all.

Notes: has lots of booth space, has 4 seat tables, and even an 8. There are high chairs. They sell coke products, sweet tea, hot chocolate, etc.

It is right off of Red Arrow Highway.

Its a cool 50s vibe. Me and the wife came here last week. Was good food and good prices for what you get.

Just sat at the table for 15 minutes wondering how I have eaten hundreds over burgers across the United States and this place blew everywhere else’s out of the water! Best burger in Michigan? I think so!

The pork tenderloin sandwich was the most pitiful thing I have ever seen for 11.99. I was there last summer, had the same thing, and the pork tenderloin was way larger than the bun. This year it was half the size, for almost 12.00. I will never go back in there. I will say the waitress was excellent, and very friendly.

Super clean, excellent service, really tasty food, generous portion sizes. The cook is right in the seating area, makes it feel cozy and reminded me of my younger years.

Went here for lunch with my family. It’s a cute, busy little Coney Island-style café, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing—mainly due to poor food safety practices.
From my table, I had a clear view of the kitchen, and what I saw was concerning. None of the food prep staff or cooks were wearing gloves, and I witnessed multiple instances of cross-contamination. One cook, for example, handled raw meat, then used the same bare hands to plate hotcakes—touching both food and utensils without washing up. At one point, she even wiped sweat off her forehead and continued handling food, using only a shared wet rag to wipe her fingers.
Other staff also worked without gloves, touching raw and cooked items interchangeably. One young man prepping plates didn’t wash his hands regularly and handled everything from fries to buns without proper hygiene. I even overheard another customer remark, “She doesn’t have gloves on.”
Our food came out lukewarm after sitting on the counter for over 10 minutes. I watched as the same young man was told he added too many fries to a plate , he simply grabbed a handful with his bare hands and put them back in the fry bin.
Overall, the lack of food safety and cleanliness was disturbing. I won’t be returning, and I strongly recommend they revisit their health and safety protocols before more customers take notice.

The food was great! People friendly. Waited a bit for food, so it’s not a quick stop, but if you have time it’s a great breakfast. Very loud inside in case that’s a concern.
