I placed an online order for a white chocolate mocha. After picking it up and taking a sip while driving, I immediately noticed it did not taste anything like what I ordered. I turned around and went back into the store to let the barista know. The first employee I spoke with was polite and said it would not be a problem to remake it.
However, the employee who took the drink to remake it, who I believe was the same person who originally made it responded by saying, “Well, I try,” in a dismissive tone before remaking the drink.
When I was handed the new drink, I tasted it inside the store to make sure it was correct. It was finally made properly, so I thanked them and began to walk away. As I was leaving, the same employee who made my drink said “loser” and laughed.
I was shocked and deeply offended. I did nothing but calmly request that my incorrect drink be remade, which I believe is reasonable as a paying customer. It took a great deal of restraint on my part not to turn around and confront her directly. No customer should ever be spoken to in that manner, especially after handling the situation respectfully.
I have always expected Starbucks employees to uphold a standard of professionalism and courtesy. This interaction was humiliating, uncalled for, and completely unacceptable. I hope this matter is addressed so that no other customer is treated this way.
Waited 7–8 minutes… for a drink that literally comes from a tap. My cup was sitting right in front of the cold brew station the whole time. I finally asked the female at the tap station about it and got, “Oh, it’s right here,” as she poured it.
Pro tip: If the drink is nitro, it shouldn’t need that much aging. I usually tip after pickup based on service — this one made the $0 decision easy and seemed intentional to keep me waiting due to “not tipping”. Wish I could’ve left a tip for everyone else but not her. #PettyLikeHer
In the drive thru, you wait for about 30 minutes for 1 order to come through. I had no issues with the service though. Came in here twice and ask for a medium iced caramel macchiato and the medium looks like a small drink.. wasn’t sure about the size differences. Came in early in the morning and they also already ran out of their tomato and cheese sandwiches.
My overall experience wasn’t the best. It’s mostly the wait and running out of things quickly.
