Fiddler’s Rest is an institution on the N21 in Maison Rouge. Regulars and fans of Irish pubs meet here for a Kilkenny or delicious dishes prepared by the chef. Fish and chips are among the classics that should not be missed! Due to the popularity of the restaurant, advance reservations are recommended. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the building. It’s also worth making the trip here. In summer, you can sit in the well-tended garden, and in winter, the open fireplace in the dining room creates a cosy, homely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I REALLY enjoy the food and atmosphere there!
We go there most of the time is for having Fish n chip. Not only us, also to our U.K. visitors, everyone is impressed by the juicy fried fish and the light and crispy batter!
Food service is efficient and the outdoor seat area is nice and tidy!
The only one thing is not so good is I couldn’t have space for having dessert since the main is so much!

Great service, friendly welcome and really delicious food. We walked in early without a booking. I had meatballs and my husband had an Angus burger. We shared an enormous waffle for dessert.

What a great find on a lazy Sunday when many places are closed. It looked like a family run operation. Tasted like home cooking. Pints of Guinness on tap among other tasty beverages. Super cozy atmosphere and a large sheltered terrace in the back.
