Seervice can be great or ok, depending which shift you get. Atmosphere is ok or good, depending on a day of the week and the locals inside. Be careful, locals can be sensitive, and conversation topics can be tricky; more intricate issues may be “upsetting” when more complex or intellectual. Overall: great service, good booze selection, skittish company.

The bartenders were awesome but the people who run it were terrible to deal with. They started by not informing us that we had to rent the place the night before for set up and just told us that it would be available then they booked a bingo night there until 11pm. They ended up moving bingo and told me they would waive the fee for renting the night before for set up because of the confusion then tried charging me for it at the wedding. when we were setting up the door was broken when we asked if they could fix it they tried saying I broke it and then the husband had an attitude with Joe when fixing it. They said the place was going to be clean for set up and it wasn’t. I ended up re sweeping the whole place. They also told me I had till 11 to get cleaned up in the morning only to have booked it for 9 am this morning so the next people were already there. Just an all around mess to have to deal with them. I highly do not recommend anyone book K’s Korner.

The Loft has the potential to be a nice venue, except it leaves a lot to be desired. There is a nice spiral staircase, which would be a nice photo op, but there is stuff all around it. The parking situation is very haphazard. There is more than one staircase to get up to the loft. However, the Loft is not a.d.a. compliant. If you are having a function up there, you better have some friends willing to carry decorations and stuff up and down the stairs. If you have anyone needing a wheelchair or any other adaptive device, they are not going to be able to attend your function unless they can use stairs.

I’ve been here on two occasions, a baby shower and a HS Graduation. Both times the banquet hall was beautiful, very well maintained, spacious with a bar, his and her bathrooms, tables and chairs and a juke box with a variety of music. There is also a space outside, with a table, chairs and an ashtray for the smokers. There is about 10-15 sturdy stairs to walk up to enter the banquet room and there is also an elevator (perfect for those who have a problem with stairs). This place is easy to find and has sufficient parking. One more thing, if you’re lucky, you will have Louanne as your bartender. She is friendly, hard working and takes a great deal of pride while taking care of your events.

My son and daughter in law had their reception there recently. It was a perfect place and everything turned out beautiful. The management were easy to work with. They just need to work on communication. They were told 300 could fit and we got it in there but nobody could move. They didn’t tell us trash and bussing tables were our responsibility until during the reception when I was informed by a rude guy that it wasn’t his responsibility. I would work with them again just going forward knowing those things I’ll be better prepared.
