What an amazing foodie experience!! A top 10 without question. Went with the tasting menu and OMG every course was simply amazing! The baked potatoe is unearthly.
Paired with a bottle of Chenin Blanc each plate delivered on taste, creativity and presentation. Julian was great, every bit as knowledgeable and friendly. Really top notch service.

Highly recommend you try the restaurant now before the word gets out and it becomes impossible to book. 5Foodies all the way!

Our experience at Ukiah started off a bit subpar, but after expressing our concerns to the manager, Francisco, everything completely turned around. Francisco personally stepped in, and with the help of our new waitress Joia and her assistant Danny, the service and overall experience became excellent.

The food was truly amazing. The chicken on the chicken and waffles was perfectly juicy, the buffalo shrimp was packed with flavor, and the prawn was a great size and cooked just right. I could honestly go on and on. The drinks were also delicious — and if you’re a martini drinker like me, you’ll love that they have blue cheese–stuffed olives.

Despite the rocky start, the team genuinely listened and made things right, which says a lot. I highly recommend giving Ukiah a visit, and definitely ask for Joia — she made all the difference.

There were 8 of us dining at Ukiah for the first time. First of all the service staff were super excellent and went over and beyond to give us a pleasant experience. We had chef’s special which was a series of surprise dishes. This is a good option for big groups like us. The drinks were well balanced and generous. I recommend Ukiah.

On a recommendation we visited Ukiah for brunch, located on the riverfront in Fort Lauderdale. It’s a balance between Japanese street food & Southern comfort BBQ, complete with matching vibe & menu. Craft cocktails were outstanding in quality & price as we enjoyed tableside smoked old fashion, spritz, and Bloody Mary. Our party of 4 excitedly ordered a variety of unique shareables (description, photos & captions below), packed with all the taste profiles: sweet, savory, heat, spice, umami. It was a great experience, transporting us to the staycation feels by the warm hospitality provided by Cara, creative dishes, covered waterfront patio and subtle DJ entertainment. We’re definitely returning for dinner to sample the smoked brisket & smoked pastrami short rib. Until then, Cheers

Spectacular location on the river with vibrant vibes and great views. Highlight of the meal was the smoked pastrami short rib – smokey and flavorful. The crispy squid a was meaty and delicious but nothing new. The roasted cauliflower disappointed without enough roasting and street corn felt like it never knew it was supposed to be street food. The crispy ribs and pork belly were good, but you’ve tasted it before. Come for the smoked meats and the views.

This place was incredible. Fort Lauderdale was missing this type of flavor in its books. The Japanese Stake house flavor really hit the spot, along with the atmosphere, and location of the place.
I would recommend to try the tasting menu the chef has bc it is an experience of its own.

Thank you for great service Sam, and team!

Ukiah has left a lasting impression with me and the guest I bring to their restaurant. It’s not just dining … it’s an experience from start to finish.

As soon as I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for by the host and a gentleman (I wish I got his name). Every server/staff member who walked by greeted me with a smile and checked how I was doing. That was so sweet.

Jay was our server for the evening, and he was so kind and attentive to us. Our lemon drops were perfectly crafted, and the shot that Damien created was a literal flavorful party in our mouths. The passion fruit foam, immediately yes!

The food? I already knew it would be amazing based on my first experience at the pre-opening. Hence why I’m back. It was my treat to cousin for her birthday. She couldn’t stop raving about how delicious every option was. Compliments to the chef(s).

That COCONUT CAKE – is the chef’s mom recipe. Momma knows what she was doing with that recipe, and I love it even more that the chef included it on the menu.

Lastly, hi to Angel, who was sweet from the first time I came. His service is memorable.

Thank you, Ukiah. I’ll be back soon. Please share this message with your staff. They should know the amazing job they’re doing.

A perfect restaurant. Everything was up a notch to 11. For example grilled baby zucchini sounds pretty standard right. They came with the lightest sauce and tiny pieces of mild caramelized ginger. The scallop skewers had a seaweed garnish I am glad I thought to eat, because it was in itself a work of art with a unique dressing I would have not experienced if I had not tried it. We also had the beef skewer, snapper skewer, ramen, grilled peppers, and tuna tartar on thick hot rice crackers.

Hello to flavor town! So many dishes to try and share. Beautiful outdoor seating area! The coconut cake was decadent and sweet. The mango dessert was creamy and full of flavor. The main entrees were filling and seasoned to perfection.

A unique concept, beautiful space, bold flavors and superb service: Ukiah hits all the marks.

I’ll keep it short tonight, but we went with the avocado salad, karaage chicken, street corn and baby back ribs. There wasn’t a disappointment among them! Everything was executed superbly and paced perfectly.

Congrats on an excellent meal!
